A:  I bought the first 3 gallon as natural, then I couldn’t find the same one after that so I went to Home Depot and got the transparent one. I didn’t see any difference between the two. I used both natural and transparent in my backyard fence and result came out good.

A:  My local store had samples in the stains area where I was able to see the differences.

A:  When properly applied, it should penetrate leaving no film on the surface. A film on the surface means that the wood was already sealed or the product was over applied.

A:  First application, maybe - depends on the condition and type of the wood. Second application with paint sprayer, yes.

A:  Hi there, the 3 gallon size will cover approximately 1050 sq. ft.

A:  It can IF the existing stain in not water resistant. You would have to prep by sanding to get any penetration.

A:  NO idea. Anything on the inside could seep into garden. Just stain the outside.

A:  It’s not a low VOC stain, but we do have a low VOC woodland oil available, product code: 801142, Home depot item # : 1005065260

A:  It’s hard to say because it depends on the wood type and how dry it is. The more dry and porous the more stain you’ll need.
