A: Hey Bishop,
As long as the exterior door does not get direct rain on it, it should be fine. Follow directions on the sealer. Then paint or stain as the instructions call for.

Q:What is the size? I can't figure out what the size is from the description of the product which says 7/32 in x 2 in x 2 in?
A: It's a square that is 2 inches long on each side, and it's about 1/4 of an inch thick. We used them to finish off the corners of the trim we put on our skylights.

A: They are wood, so I'm fairly certain you can stain them. We painted them white to match the ceiling/skylight trim.

A: Yes. They are stainable. Different woods accept stain at different rates so there may be slight difference in color. I did a contrast color for my ornamental trim.
