A:  They are rough surface.

A:  Very rough, Need planing and stain, also maybe 1 out of 3 we're chipped or split

A:  The wood was more water than wood; after waiting like 2 weeks to get dry was less than 5/8 of an inch, no smooth at all, very rough finish, not what you can see on the website picture. Not recommended to anyone.

A:  Rocky, It seems that the product varies a bit, but for the most part, the surface is rather rough.

A:  no it is a mix of cedar wood. you have some with nice clear grain texture and others that look like it came from a reused pallet box. buyer beware

A:  IDK about CVG! It was definitely vertical grain and it was tanned cedar w/ no imperfections whatsoever.

A:  The pickets were rough not well sanded and some had bark on them

A:  The pickets are #2 & BTR Mill Ran Rough. They are not CVG.

A:  They sell this in a package of 13 for about $25. That will save you a little and leave you with a few spares for future repairs.

A:  It is cedar. It is naturally rot resistant
