A: Yes, just repels pests/insects

A: I don't have pets myself, so I don't have first hand experience on the matter. I can only guess and say that it probably is safe since the only thing that it supposedly emits is sound that is inaudible to the human ear but is heard by rodents. Whether its heard by cats or dogs I don't know.

A: No, it is not intended for mosquitoes.

A: I think it works on mosquitoes. I plug it in to my outlet (on the side of the house) directly next to the table and two chairs we hang-out at. My intention was to keep them from feeding on our legs, back and butt. It works down low but not up around our head, neck, shoulders and arms. I have these all over my house and basement, and I'm happy with the result in there. I have them all over the inside, but we don't usually have any windows opened, so it's hard to say for inside the house.

A: I know these type of devices tend to make a low beeping noise. Maybe you have squirrels in attic. Basically these type of devices meant for rats n roaches. I have the Bell Howell pest control. I used for years in my homes and currently in my motorhome n never had a problem with mice or rats. (That's what I purchased mine for). Hope this helps you.

Q:I keep getting mice/rats near my outdoor kitchen area. I would like to place this in the one of the cabinet to drive them away. The space is sealed and dry from water and moisture as well as covered from the rain. I realized the product says for indoor use only, but can I use it for my outdoor kitchen if there's no threat from water/moisture?

A: I don't see why u can't, as long as its protected from the weather.
by|Jan 3, 2020
A: I would try it. The cost is low enough that you don't have a lot invested should it not work. I have seen descent results in the house so far and I had my reservations about the product.. Bottom line, it's worth a try.

A: You can, but it wouldn’t help. The PestOffense device creates a disturbance in the electric cables that irritates mice, rats, roaches, and ants enough to keep them from residing comfortably. To protect your outdoor kitchen, you would have to enclose the area and encircle it with electric cable - not just an extension cord. For protecting closed access areas these devices are great. To protect your outdoor kitchen keep the area clean - leave no food and wipe all surfaces with vinegar after every use.

A: No it will not affect ferrets they have a nervous system more like a cat. It will however annoy chinchillas.
Thanks
by|Jul 1, 2019
A: I have no idea but ferrets should be large enough so this unit would not bother them. It is safe around our dog.
by|Jul 5, 2019
A: Only if they live inside your walls.
by|Jan 16, 2023
A: Doubtful...call the company # on the box and ask them. Ferrets aren't rats or mice.
by|Jul 4, 2019
A: From what I can see, it doesn’t harm nor actually affect anything.
