Answer This Question
A: Hello davidp, Our vent free appliances are not made to be used an exhaust system, outside air kit, or working flue/ working chimney. They are designed to be use without this, because they burn very efficiently and do not create a significant amount of exhaust. They are safe to use as long as the safety requirements in the manual are met. If they are installed under a chimney, then the chimney flue should be closed off.
