However, if you are picking such liquid the paper filter may get wet, that is why if you are picking up liquid in this case is to remove the paper filter. Or if not you may need to clean up frequently to prevent any mildew or mold build up.         A:  No. Using this would be akin to using a jackhammer to hang pictures. Additionally, when you use a shop vac like this, the mess sticks to the hose and stinks. Look for a handheld carpet cleaner to handle urine cleanup.

If not there and you purchased your vacuum less than 90 days ago, you may present your receipt and vac at your local Home Depot for a return or an exchange at their discretion.             A:  There are 2 attachments that come with this, one about 6 wide & one about 12 wide, they both work great BUT you need a foam filter purchased separately, everyone sells them... Just open the lid & replace paper filter w foam, slips right over it

              A:  Hello HomeDepotShopper, Thanks for your inquiry. if you are picking up clean water, the pleated paper filter can be removed. When picking up small amounts of liquid the paper filter may be left in place. Please note that when the filter becomes saturated, misting may occur at the blower port. The VF7000 filter adds protection for your vacuum during wet pick-up by keeping water-borne debris out of the motor. This model also includes locking wet nozzle which is the most effective accessory for wet pickups.                       A:  So ALL vacs now are starting to be "rated" in "PEAK" horsepower ... which is fake horsepower for ADVERTISING PURPOSES.True WORKING horsepower is 746watts=1HP rating. so a working 3.3hp vac will draw 2500watts, which is basically NONE of the vacuums in HD

The Peak Horsepower rating represents the measured potential power that the motor can produce under laboratory conditions. To measure Peak Horsepower, the motor is attached to a dynamometer through a frictionless coupling. A torque transducer is connected to the motor shaft to measure torque and an encoder is used to measure the shaft speed in revolutions per minute. The motor is energized (power turned on) and taken to full no load speed. The dynamometer (brake) applies an increasing load to the motor until locked rotor is achieved. A multi channel scope connected to a computer records and graphs the speed, torque and horsepower from no load through locked rotor. The advertised Peak Horsepower is at or below the maximum measured value established from a series of averaged laboratory tests.
