A: Yes. The depth or the drill bit can be adjusted.

A: Depth of bit yes. The Allen wrench is for the set screw on the bit
A: You can adjust the depth of the pilot drill bit somewhat using the set screw. As far as the countersink depth, that depends on how far you drill into the material. Recommend putting a piece of electrical or painter’s tape on the shaft to indicate when to stop boring. Other than that, this is a terrific tool, worked well for me on several projects.
A: Yes, you can adjust the drill bit depth with the set screw.
A: I'm not sure that at is supposed to be adjustable, but I adjust the depth of the pilot bit using the set screw and allen wrench. These may just be for the purpose of replacing the pilot, but it works.
A: Practically, no. There is a hex nut that will adjust the height, but it won't stay tight and merely slips to the shortest length. Next, the drill bit may not be the right size. I suggest drilling the hole, then use countersink after.
A: Hi, Kevin. Thank you for your interest in the RYOBI SpeedLoad+ 5-Piece Power Groove Countersink Set. If your product has a 1/4 in. hex shank then, yes! A: I have purchased the garbage 2 times
A: . They are poor quality, made with poor quality material. I paid $13 twice. Should have paid $25 for the DeWalt and saved on aggravation
A: Yes it was very nice
A: Doesn’t come with a carry case, I cut the top and kept the package they came in for storage.
A: Hi, Container. Thank you for your interest in the RYOBI SpeedLoad+ 5-Piece Power Groove Countersink Set. I'm sorry, no. This kit does not come with a carrying case. A: Yes, you can sink the #10 in just a little less than maximum. Ive done it before for #9s
A: Use the #8 size. The screw will not crack the wood and the head should seat flush as well.
A: #9 is 11/64 which I don't believe that size is in the set. They are pretty basic. You could use a bigger size if you like. You could probably buy the right if hey have it. Your choice however.
A: Nashvillian, thank you for your interest in the RYOBI SpeedLoad+ 5-Piece Power Groove Countersink Set. I am sorry, this does not include a #9 screw size. A: Monte, thank you for your interest in the RYOBI SpeedLoad+ 5-Piece Power Groove Countersink Set. The Diameter of the bits are #6 8.03mm, #8 8.13mm, #10 9.53mm, and #12 10.80mm. Thank you for asking, If you have further questions and would like to speak with a RYOBI Customer Experience Professional, please call, 1-800-525-2579 M-F from 9am-6pm EST. Hope this helps! - Vini
A: IT SHOULD TELL YOU ON THE PACKAGE YOU BOUGHT IT IN.
A: The #6 is 41/128, the #8 is 21/64, the #10 is 25/64 and the #12 is 13/32.
A: #6, #8, #10, and #12 Screw Sizes, these are the sizes described but the countersink is wider. We eyeball the depth for a skate board truck.
A: The diameters OF the counterbores are: #6 8.03mm, #8 8.13mm, #10 9.53mm, #12 10.80mm.
A: This has not happen to me yet, but it does seem feasible if you can get the same type of bit. I did pull one out and thiere is a flat side on the shank. In combination with the hex screw may keep the bit from spinning. This would be my only concern.
A: Yes, the drill bits can be replaced. There is a hex nut on the side that allows for this. I hope this helps!
A: Yes indeed! That is one of the reasons why it comes with a Allen key. Not only is it adjustable but they can also be replaced. The replacement usually comes two in a pack. Make sure that the flat side of the bit faces the screw. That is what holds it strongly in place.
A: Loosen and remove the Allen screw with the provided Allen key. Try inserting a sharp pointed object such as a small nail into hole for Allen screw. Use point on nail to push broken drill bit towards countersink side of tool. Once broken bit is removed insert new drill bit and secure with Allen screw that was previously removed.
A: The Allen wrench that came with the package is meant for changing out the bits if one breaks
A: Yes, just loosen the broken bit with the wrench and insert a new one of same size.
A: Hi loren! Thank you for your question. I'm sorry to hear about your drill bit but it can absolutely be replaced by loosening the hex nut.
A: Yes you can, should be a very small allen key to loosen and replace....easy enough
A: Yes! You have a set screw you loosen to replace or adjust the drill bit. Great set I use it regularly and love it.
A: You should be able to loosen the hex head screw on the side..Then slide the broken bit out.Insert a new bit and tighten.
A: This kit (RYOBI SpeedLoad+ 5-Piece Power Groove Countersink Set) will make a 7/16" (#12 bit) countersink. It will not make a plug. You will have to get a plug bit (7/16") to make the plug.
A: Amana countersink Rolls Royce of the Countersinks Comes all sizes shape Check out on Amanatool https://www.amanatool.com/55208-carbide-tipped-countersink-8-9-screw-7-16-dia-x-11-64-drill-dia-x-5-16-round-shank.html?ff=1&fp=9350
A: PLUG CUTTERS ARE OUT THERE 7/16 IS A HARD FIND THERE USED FOR PLUGS OF THE SAME WOOD YOUR WORKING ON IF THATS NOT IT BUY A 7/16 DOWEL AT HD JOE
A: Hi Mitch, The #12 gives you 1/8" pilot and 7/16" counter bore. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: None of these will, the widest is under 1/4". Im not sure you will easily find such a countersink and may just have to use a separate drill bit.
A: It is also 1/8''.
A: Looks to be #12 , #10 , #8 & #6 . Those are the more common sizes used today for general construction.
A: Hi David, This has 4 counter sinking bits with the pilot hole drill bits. the #6 has a 3/32 bit the #8 has a 7/64 drill bit and the #10 and #12 have the 1/8 drill bit. Hope this helps. Greg
A: #6, #8, #10 and #12 screw sizes
A: The only bidet seat models that have a round version that I've found are the Alpha UX Pearl and the Brondell 1400 Swash.
A: It appeared to be a little larger than a number 3 Phillips head screw I see it and I have not used it yet .
A: If by bits you mean the countersink, there is not a 1/2". The largest, 12, is about a 1/16" shy of 1/2"
A: This set includes 1/8 in., 7/64 in., 3/32 in. and pilot countersinks.
A: 1/8"
A: Hi Greg, Includes 1/8 in., 7/64 in., 3/32 in. and pilot countersinks for setting screws flush with or below the surface of material, Thanks for asking. Greg
A: The bits are sized for #6, #8, #10 and #12 screws. I'm afraid they don't go to 1/2" if that's what you're after, but Ryobi does make two countersink bits with the same quickload shank as these. They come in 5/8 and 3/4" diameters, either one could do a 1/2" countersink just fine.
A: 6,8,10,12
A: 6, 8, 10 and 12.
A: If you look closely at the enlarged view of the 4 countersink assemblies, you can see the numbers 6, 8, 10, and 12 just above the allen set screws. These are the wood screw number sizes that they are designed to provide pilot holes for. Hope this helps.
A: Sizes are for #6, #8, #10 and #12 screws.
A: 6, 8 , 10, 12
A: 6, 8, 10, and 12
A: Sized for #6 #8 #10 #12 screws.
A: 6,8,10,12. But dont waste your money
A: 6, 8, 10, 12
