A:  It should have a minimum distance. On other words, if I do not cut my pipe by 2 inches maximum distance, is it okay if I cut by a distance less than 2 inches, for example 1 inch or 1/2 inch or even lower?

A:  It works excellent in copper pipe and I have used it with copper pipe where the flow is water and not air and it has not liquefied. I don't know if it works well for air. But in copper pipe this fitting works excellent. God bless you Angel

A:  Yes you can. It requires strong fingers or an inexpensive tool. Just press against the connection and slide the shark it’s off the pipe.
