Answer This Question

A:  Hi Levi, Since the HOM2448M100PCVP is a NEMA1 with convertible main, this can be bottom fed by rotating the complete load center and cover. This will NOT cause the labeling to be "upside down", it will just start the circuit counting at the bottom of the cover where the Mains is located, but it will read appropriately. A:  Hi Carlos, This particular product already has 150A Main breaker on it, if you are referring to a 150A branch breaker. Use HOM2150BB. This takes 4 AWG–300 kcmil wires. Warm Regards, Schneider Electric Customer Care

Q:What size wire is recommended to feed the panel my house was built in the 50’s and has had multiple hack job wiring renovations now I am doing a complete rewire and this will be a sub on the inside of my home.

                Answer This Question

A:  All depends. If this is going to be a Sub-panel now, then you had to select how many amps needed. If you want 60 amp, then a #6 wire is required. If you want 100 amps, then a #4 is required. The main panel will house the breaker feeding the Sub.
