Q:Is there a warranty on this product? I watered it 2 times a day for 2-4 weeks, and they all died. Barely sprouted.

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear that you had issues with germination. An important aspect of seeding for success is seed to soil contact, light mulch cover or lightly raking the seed to maintain moisture around the seed which is critical though the germination process. It is very important that the surface be kept damp AT ALL TIMES during the germination period. Twice a day would not be enough moisture for germination or establishment. You will have to water 3 – 4 times a day (daylight hours) to keep the seed in a moist environment. The duration of each cycle will depend on the irrigation system but will probably be 5 – 10 minutes per cycle, depending on the irrigation system. Under optimal temperature and moisture conditions clover seed will germinate in 7 to 15 days. Should the surface be allowed dry out for only a short time, the tiny clover plants will die.

Q:If I cast this seed on established lawn will it eventually take over?

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out.
To seed into an existing lawn:
1. Mow lawn as short as possible, not more than 1/2 inch high.
2. Remove thatch and debris. Should you have a heavy
layer of thatch built up, you will need to rent a vertical mower or renovator to remove it. It is very important that the seed come in direct contact with the soil.
3. Aerify if the soil is hard-packed. This can be done with an aerifying machine or a hand held tool that is
stepped into the ground that extracts soil cores.
4. Sow seed according to the rate on the label.
5. Cover the seed with a weed free mulch.

Answer This Question
A: Yes, you can cover up to 500sqft, but you will have to spread it lightly. At 350sqft it will be more dense. What are you using it for?
I use it for 3 small sections of about 200 sqft each, that is 600 sqft but I also mixed in some grass and wheat seed. The clover came in nicely with the grass and wheat. I transfer the chickens from section to section as they "mow it down". They can graze this way all year long. This spring the grass and clover came back on their own and I won't have to reseed!

A: Thank you for your question. One pound of white clover will cover up to 500 square feet if you are overseeding into an existing lawn or ground cover. If you desire a pure stand then one pound will cover 300 square feet.
