A: Hello BobinVA,
In regards to your inquiry about the Adapter, the Prongs/Metal sides of the adapter itself can sometimes be quite rigid and stiff when you first receive them. We recommend pressing them in with your fingers to squeeze and break them in.

A: Hello Andy,
Thank you for your interest in our 12V 6 Qt. Cooler/Warmer, the device will always bring the insides of the cooler 40° below ambient temperature. Ambient temperature being the temperature of the current environment or surroundings of the cooler. The cooler you get the area around the device, the colder it will be inside of the cooler.

A: Hello Patti,
Thank you for your interest in our products and you can always find the manuals for any of our devices on our website at Wagan. com. For your benefit we have provided the link here below:
https://wagan. com/pages/owners-manuals-product-guides
All you would need to do is plug the Power Cord into your Cooler/Warmer and then plug the 12v Cord into your 12v Power Socket in your vehicle to send power to the device. Then simply turn on the HEAT Setting to keep your products warm. (We recommend turning it on for a few minutes beforehand, so that it is nice and toasty before putting your products inside).

Q:Prior answers read that this product shouldn't be used with ice since the water's moisture may damage the electronic components. However, when not plugged into an electric power source, do you recommend using an artificial ice pack such as Rubbermaid Blue Ice Weekender Pack or Arctic Ice Blue Ice Pack with this product?

A: I put a small towel on bottom to catch any moisture, plus I put a small freezer pack in a zip lock bag.

A: Hello Doodlebug,
In regards to your inquiry, when the device is not plugged into a power source, you can certainly use Ice packs as you mentioned to keep your items in the cooler cold. We would just recommend you make sure that there is no water run off, or any liquids inside the cooler and make sure to dry it off and clean it properly after use. The main concern is making sure that no liquids or moisture gets into the Lid's electronical components.
