Q:Can I paint these posts? I'd like them to be a dark wood color to blend in with the hillside.

Answer This Question
A: Good morning,
We do not recommend painting the vinyl because it creates additional upkeep of the product and it is not easy to cover, as paint will be more spread and uneven on the material. Painting may also lead to reactive results from weather, such as warping.

Marcus

Q:Are the fences wind rated? How durable are the fence sections with 60 pound dogs? Nothing aggressive but a meet and greet variety dogs.

Answer This Question
A: Good afternoon,
Our only wind-rated products are the Curious George and Steady Freddy. The entire product line are of professional grade rating, so although not designed for constant jumping or pressure from dogs, they should not be severely damaged or toppled. The fences are designed as our permanent style fencing; However, if consistent enough force/interaction on the product, there may be changes in the stability of post/pickets. This is simply vinyl, so it truly depends on your dogs playful behavior.
Best regards,
Marcus

Q:The panel kits have a post included so I only need one additional post to finish my length of fencing. Why can't I purchase one post; why do you only offer a two pack of something I will never need?
by|Jun 17, 2023

Answer This Question
A: Hello, thank you for reaching out. The posts are sold as a two pack because in most typical builds, customer need one for the gate and the second for the end of the line of fence. Unfortunately, in cases where a gate isn't part of the project, there will be an extra post. We to apologize for the inconvenience. Best regards,
Russell

Q:What is the diameter of the inside/center hole? We have a 2? galvanized pipe around our basement entry, I need to slide over those, but need to know inside hole size.
by|Jun 10, 2023

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
The diameter of the inside of the honey combed post is a little over 2". They should be able to fit over your 2" posts. You will want to secure them to the posts with screws to keep them from shaking, even the slightest, against the metal posts inside. The posts will also need to be trimmed down to 4.5' tall if you are not using concrete footing.
Feel free to give us a call to discuss this with a project consultant at 877-778-5733.

Q:Are these posts strong enough to mount gates to? Such as a 4ft wide and 5ft wide gate.
by|Apr 23, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hello!
Thanks for reaching out! Yes, these posts are strong enough to mount gates to. A gate with a height of 4ft is the recommend tallest height with these posts. The width you are asking about should work, but we recommend having one post at each side of the gate and perhaps a drop rod or a caster wheel. If you have to do this in an application where it is only possible to use one post, we do have a knowledge base article about installing a 'lone soldier post.'

Thanks again for reaching out, and please let us know if you have any additional questions about this product!
