Q:it says that this is a pressure booster system. I have a 1,000 gallon above ground water tank that I am going to use to feed my home with no city water connection at all. Will this provide the same amount of water pressure that I would get from the city? or does it only boost city pressure? Also, why the high price, the tank is listed for just over $100, so does the pump cost $1,300?

        Q:Can this system be installed outside? My city water supply is outside and no where near my garage. Electrical connections can be weatherized, wondering about the pump. If not, can it be co-located with my water heater (which is inside my garage, but on the opposite side of the property).

        A:  I would not recommend it unless you live in an area that never drops below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The tank holds water and would be susceptible to freezing. Would strongly recommend installing indoors in an insulated area also consider sound proofing the walls as the pump can be somewhat loud.
