A:  could just add 2 shims 1/2" on both ends

A:  The kit does measure out to 72", so odds are this kit won't work. What customers have done in the past is order 2 kits and cut them down, or you could get a post to place in the middle in this case, which would emulate the same effect. If you do want to put a post in the center of that section, you would need to order an additional bracket kit to put up both sections of the railing.

A:  Good question, Bill! You will receive your top and bottom rail, all the spindles that go between the rails and 4 brackets (2 top & 2 bottom). Post kits and post mounts are sold separately if needed. In addition, you will need to purchase extra bracket kits if you are planning on splitting one of these railing sections and using it as 2 separate smaller sections (i.e. two 2 ft sections). A:  Great question! Unfortunately, we do not have a railing long enough to cover your 127 inches so you would likely have to go with 2 six foot sections and cut the down to size with a post sleeve kit between the two sections. A:  This is the item you are looking for. 3.5 ft. High is 42 in. after installation and it comes at a true 72 in. wide.
