A:  Hi Andrew, we appreciate your interest! The main difference between the two would be the style. The Spirit EX-315 has a closed cabinet, 4 casters, 424 sq in of primary cooking area, comes with Weber connect integrated on the side table of the grill, 1 Ambient probe included, (already mounted in the grill), 1 meat probe included, and 2 meat probe jack inputs available. A:  Hi Carole! Your grill should be able to reach the same high temperature we expect from all of our grills, at least 450 F. If your grill is not getting that hot, we would suggest starting by double-checking your current gas pressure. The gas pressure provided to the grill is of the utmost importance, it affects the performance of the burner tube(s). Please reach us at 800-446-1071.
