Q:Do these Industrial Grade Whirlpool hoses have a persistent odor? One reviewer said they stink so badly he sent them back. Don't want that odor added to the laundry water necessarily. Thanks for any experience to share.

A: soupy,
I do not have access to the PSI for these hoses. I apologize for not being able to provide this information. These hoses can handle the typical water pressure that comes into a home and the water line designated for the washer. Thank you for viewing this accessory.

A: The water pressure in my county is allowed to reach 130 PSI but usually there is a pressure regulator installed to reduce it between the water meter and the home

A: Typically these hoses will hold up to 200 PSI without any problems. To tell you the actual PSI MAX rating on these...I don't know exactly.
Standard water pressure never gets over 120 PSI MAX in a normal home.

A: No appliance or water using fixture produced or sold in the United States will hold a warranty with pressure exceeding 80 psi. Code requires than residential pressure never exceeds 80 psi. Both uniform plumbing code and international as well as almost all regional codes. If you plan on using this product with high pressure lines, that’s different.
