It's a 3 ft long bolt. Well not really because it doesn't have a head but, yeah it's a 3 ft long bolt just tack weld a jam nut to the end of it and you've got yourself a nice little 3 ft long bolt.

they worked as expected

I only needed a foot of 1/2 threaded rod but my local Home Depot was out of stock, had to buy a 2 ft length.

I have been in engineering for decades. This product is made of the cheapest quality steel I have ever seen so be careful what you use it for. Bending it, even to a wide radius bend, will cause it to snap. The metal at the snapped end looks granulated, some may say crystallized. I wouldn't use it for load bearing. I didn't use it, money down the drain.
