The organization and neatness of the stores are deteriorating.some items are in the wrong shelve space.I happened to visited (3) stores that same Day and the results were the same.however,I might add Home Depot is my home away from home.

Absolute garbage. Finished basement framing. I dont know if the people picking them out were trying to get rid of the last of a pile or what? Will be exchanging at least 50 of the 250 i carried down to my basement. The others i pry'd into place. Now i get to take them back up and to the store. Do yourself a favor and pick the lumber out yourself.

The 2x4x10 at my local Home Depot is awful. Lumber is at a all time high and the quality of lumber at Home Depot is at a all time low. I ended up going to a local small lumber yard where the quality was much much better

Many were twisted or bowed so bad they couldn’t be used. Be sure to grade them in store or order 10% extra to account for the bad ones

Quality is generally poor and overpriced. Full of knots, twists and bends. For every good board I find, 3 are crap.

Here's the truth. I'd give it 4 stars if I were a contractor. But I needed two near-perfect 2x10s. No knots, no warps, no splits, no checks. Straight grain; run-out 1:10. Narrow (tight) grain was a bit much to ask for. I found one piece in a bundle of about 80. I went through 80 more at the competitor to find one more. But if you don't need 'perfect' select lumber, you'll do fine. Prices are the same all over.

Made an excellent framework for a carport

It took 45 minutes and 2 palates to find 10 straight boards. Very disappointing.
