Product splits way to easy

I had to sort through the entire stack of 2x4s to find the 45 I needed: ones without splits, cracks, bananas, or large knots missing in the edges. The ones toward the back of the stack had a higher percentage of good pieces (probably because they had not yet been picked through), but overall I would estimate my reject rate at 40% to find 2x4s with enough integrity for my project-- 5 feeders for large sheep. Positive: great price!

its sadly impossible to find straight wood

All straight with few deformities. Built a bench. Sits good.

Good quality but over priced. I feel that ALL suppliers are price gouging us for wood product during this so called pandemic.

It's typical framing lumber. It's in better condition than many I've purchased in the past but there were a couple that ended up twisting after sitting for a few days.

I purchased these studs to frame up old wood windows, as walls, for my old jacuzzi cover, turned 'She Shed'. My home projects usually don't require expensive lumber, so I went with the most economical and was very pleased. No bent boards and all with little to no knots. I usually include pix for reviews, but 2 x 4's are pretty straight forward in how they look so I passed for this post. I'm sure I'll need additional boards, to frame up the roof, so I'll be back at HD buying more. At that point I'll probably post a pic of how they were used.
