I couldn't find this in a couple of local warehouses, but I'm glad it's online! This stuff beats regular electrical tape every single time!

Home Depot has the best pricing on this rubber tape and it's usually in stock.

This tape has no adhesive. Perhaps it will work if wrapped tight and against itself. It did not work for me.

This self sealing and healing tape is amazing. My local store no longer stocks it, yet for home repairs, project fabrication, it is truly versatile. As the saying goes, don't leave home without it. In the car, garage, or RV, if you are handy, there are countless things this tape can do and repair. A leaky radiator hose to get off the road or a leaking garden hose. Electrical cables and under ground repairs can be waterproofed, try it, and I challenge anyone to unwrap it once it bonds to its self. It cannot be done. Simply amazing what this tape can do.

I’ve used this Temflex splicing tape for a few years and I recenty puchased a few rolls to be sure I have it on hand when I need it as I was down to my last roll. I use the tape to seal coax from the weather and other elements.

Works extremely well for sealing coax cable connections to make them weatherproof. Much better than messy coax seal which is near impossible to remove.

TemFlex 2155 is a very versatile rubber splicing tape, that's at home in many of the applications I use it for, on stage or at home.... Or elsewhere for that matter! On stage, I use it to bundle cables. Ever had a cable tie slide past and slice your hand apart? Use this. Need to get a grip on a road case handle? Wrap the handle in it and you'll get the grip you need... At home, I've used it to insulate split bolt connections. Also to fix extension cords, where the outer jacket is sliced/cut. In the yard, it'll get you one more season out that garden hose. I even keep a couple rolls in the car, because you never know when you might spring a leak. It's proven it's worth by using 1/4 roll on a upper radiator hose that sprung a leak. Once I had the leak found, and this stuff on, I topped 'er off and got home, where I could replace the hose.

This tape is excellent for sealing out moisture , I put it on wire nuts after tightening to prevent loosening and to seal out moisture , Even though you must stretch it when applying , Is pretty easy and the stretch as you apply seals out the moisture and also keeps the wires tight together when taping wire nuts , Keep in mind that when using rubber splicing tape , You must finish it with a top coat of regular electrical tape , This is also great for wrapping outlets & switches before installation to keep the terminals from grounding out on the box , For large connections , This tape is great for padding sharp edges , Minimizing the chance of a ground fault

Got tired of the sticky residue that even high quality vinyl electric tape leaves behind so I tried this. Temflex tape is a little more difficult to apply because you need to stretch it as you are wrapping a wire. But it waterproofs well and is sturdy so it supports stressed connections. Price is good.

I used this to splice to 2AWG AL wires. Works great.
