I ordered for pickup and the lumber was the worst I have ever worked with. Hugh knots, splintered on edges.

Was ok would have been nice to have someone help load materials

It was good wood. It would have been excellent wood but it was advertised as 4" x 4" and it was actually 3.5"x 3.5". They say it's the loss from the saw blade but that is silly if a lumber yard can't figure out to cut the wood along the other side of the measurement line like I do to get exact cuts. Learn how to use that saw and keep the wood coming before California bans the use of wood products to save the Chipmunks and they make us live in mud guys. Oh, no water to make mud because saving rain water endangers spotted pot smoking creek frogs that live in mud guys. Do I really have to move to Florida where the lizards are 9' long and eat people?

The staff here was BEYOND rude. I was refused service to not being taken seriously.There was one associate that did an outstanding job in getting me the service I need. The manager did try to remedy things. I will NEVER return to this location, again.

I just built a new fence, went to the Home Depot and picked out 15x 4x4 pieces of lumber. All were literally "Straight as a Board" in good shape all at a reasonable price. Great Job Home Depot??

Very helpful employees able to quickly help cut to the needed size, no wait time needed for help.

The wood was decent quality but was really wet which made it difficult to machine

Sticks were in rough conditions with excessive knots, made it work but was not happy with the quality

Good quality general building material. The pallet had many split boards. It was necessary to pull through the pallet.

Great wood!! They were nice enough to cut it to the lengths I needed.

The quality of the piece I selected was fairly high with the exception of a few small cracks/breaks along the grain, but I did have to move several pieces around on the rack to find one that wasn't twisted or cupped to one side. Not unusual but still worth noting and why I can't ever give this kind of product the full 5 stars.
