This is truly well built and looks great! I bought it because it looked nice online, served our needs and had overall good reviews. I am so impressed with the quality and looks. Came to me well packaged and no damage. Easy to install by myself (took mirrored doors off). You won't be disappointed.

This is a spacious well made beautiful addition to our bathroom remodel. The three doors open to nice glass shelves offering multiple configurations. The mirrored side panels give the unit a finished elegant look and the styling is modern, yet elegant. It is sturdy and well made and we are quite pleased with it. For our needs, it is an external wall mounting so the side panels added a lot of visual appeal to the cabinet. It exceeded our expectations.

Nice quality, especially for the price. Picture is for a different size...as my photo shows, the mirror doors for the 36x31 are much narrower. Very well packaged. Easier to install than I expected. I'd give it 5 stars if the shelves were adjustable and the instructions were better. They don't tell you to take off the doors first, but I highly recommend it. They also don't tell you how to take off the doors or adjust the hinges, and it took us awhile to figure out how to remove the plastic washers from the cap covers and that the extra plastic pieces snap on the shelf pegs to hold the glass in place.

This is a very high quality cabinet. I recessed this cabinet in our wall and the rough opening dimensions published on the cabinet were perfect. The wall that I placed this cabinet was non load bearing so cutting the studs was not difficult. I love the soft close hinges on this cabinet and the small pull in the corner of each door to keep finger prints off the glass.

Whisper close doors. Very sturdy. Perfectly designed, except that the bracket that supports it from the bottom was only 2 ft long. For a 48" cabinet, I would have liked to be able to span at least one more stud.

A visual knockout!
A reasonably priced, visually arresting medicine cabinet with a high-end look that will leave your guests peppering you with questions about where you got it and how much you paid. Hefty (you’ll definitely need someone to help lift the unit into position for installation unless you remove the doors), the cabinet is shipped to Home Depot or your address in packaging that would prevent damage to contents even more prone to breakage; each component is carefully segregated by oversized cardboard wedges, and all glass surfaces protected by shrink wrap and plastic clips that hold the doors securely in place. The instruction manual is printed on 8½” X 11” paper and features exploded parts and assembly diagrams that are highly readable and which facilitate installation. All surfaces are mirrored including the backs of the doors & behind the shelves. The unit is marketed as a “tri-view,” but the mirrors on the sides actually render it a quadruple-view cabinet. All that glass and reflection capacity make your bathroom seem much larger than it really is. My rating for this product is a true indication of my degree of satisfaction with this purchase. However, there are a couple of caveats worthy of note. First, this cabinet is advertised as having both recessed and surface-mount capabilities. It does. Yet despite the fact that recessing the unit is a considerably more complex operation, more than 95% of the instruction manual is devoted exclusively to how to surface mount it. Buyers interested in recessing should access the many how-to-recess-mount-a-medicine-cabinet videos on the Internet before proceeding. These videos will enlighten the DIYer regarding possible problems arising from cutting into load-bearing walls while framing and obstructions like electrical wiring and hidden plumbing which may render recessing cost-prohibitive or outright impossible. Initially we had favored a recessed instillation, but after examining the wall cavity through a 4” X 4” hole cut into the drywall (as suggested in one of the videos), we concluded that a $600 plumber’s fee to relocated buried water and vent pipes just wasn’t worth it. Ironically this discovery proved serendipitous because surface mounting adds unexpected dimensionality to the unit (along with the side mirrors which would otherwise have been lost) that we absolutely LOVE! Second, each of the glass shelves has the Chinese manufacture’s name and product info hot-stamped in black ink onto them. This is a really cheesy add-on to what is otherwise a really classy piece of merchandise. Finally, a short-sighted manufacturing design limits the number of options you have regarding shelf placement. The right side has its own set of shelves while a second set covers the remaining 2/3 of the cabinet. To accommodate any items taller than the set height of all the shelves, your only option is to remove one of the shelves entirely. All this could have been avoided had the manufacturer drilled a few more holes for the shelf holders which would have allowed buyers to tailor shelf height to their own preferences rather than being forced to accept the three fixed positions provided, something that would not likely have added more than a dime to the cost of the product. The photos I’ve included of this renovation project include two other Home Depot purchases, a 48” St. Paul custom vanity top (solid bone color, AB Lite Engineered Technology) with a rectangular bowl (white) and a Glacier Bay Edgewood bath faucet in brushed nickel, each of them, like the medicine cabinet, DIY owner installed.

Sturdy construction and looks beautiful
Instructions are really hard to understand, but eventually figured it out. The unit looks beautiful when you're all done. Only thing with the inside shelves is that they are not adjustable.I was able to drill new holes for the glass shelves and I'm extremely satisfied with this product.

Seems like good quality
My contractor put this together and mounted it today and he said it was pretty straightforward. I know contractors are better at this stuff than most people, but that is definitely not what he said about the vanity. I like that it's solidly built with metal and not particle board. It is very heavy so you need to be strong to handle it. We really need the storage space in our tiny new bathroom and I was afraid that the cabinet would be overwhelming, but I think it fits nicely and actually has the appearance of adding space. The only thing I don't like is that there are mirrors everywhere, even in the backing behind the shelves. It's a little unnerving to see myself after I've opened the cabinet door to get something, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Greatl look, high quality and tons of storage
Professionally installed so can't speak to that component. I had it recessed mounted and am very impressed with quality and amount of storage. Every surface seems to be mirrored! Couple of points to note: the glass shelves all have some sort of name/trademark stamped on them which I don't care for; and second, the shelves are not adjustable. It would be nice if there were more options for shelf placement - you either use the shelf or remove it. On the 36" cabinet there is one side that has it's own set of shelves while another set run the other 2/3rd of the cabinet. So, if you remove shelves to accommodate taller items, you either remove a single, or a double-wide shelf. Have it installed over a 48" vanity with side scones. Looks great. Packaging was really sturdy. Even my contractor said he's never had one break or damaged on shipping and he's installed many of these and has always been impressed with their quality.

High quality at a reasonable price!
This medicine cabinet upgraded and updated my bathroom! The mirrored sides and interior make this cabinet look like very high end! The glass shelves are easy to wipe clean and there is lots of storage space. I love being able to easily style my hair by opening the side mirrors and then closing them softly with this nice feature. I researched many medicine cabinets online and in showrooms before choosing this one. The reasonable price was a big factor in choosing this product. When the fellow that installed this for me opened the box he commented on how this type of cabinet was easier to install then most and the quality of the metal and glass impressed him so much he said he was going to order one for himself!

Nice looking, but cheapened since the one I saw in the store
I first saw this Pegasus cabinet on display at a Home Depot store. We liked the aluminum construction, the doors mirrored on both sides (and the back of the cabinet), and the adjustable glass shelves. Imagine our disappointment when we received the cabinet to find that the shelves were no longer adjustable - instead there are three fixed positions for each set of three shelves. And then, after installing, I unwrapped the shelves and found that the Chinese maker of the glass shelves had permanently fired in their company name and the glass description onto each shelf! I have never, ever seen such an appalling thing before and will be contacting the manufacturer to see if I can get replacements without the lettering (large and black). See photos. Then I noticed that the shelves were short - while they sat on the supports, they were about half an inch shorter than the space in the cabinet, causing them to slide around. The ones on the "short space" side (an interior wall divides the cabinet into 1/3 - 2/3) would easily fall out when nudged. I ended up putting a small dab of "Museum Putty" on each support to hold the shelves in place. Other than the shelf fiasco, I like the Pegasus cabinet. The hinges are soft-close and it flush-mounts very cleanly (though the choice of black caps for the attachment screws was a bit weird.

    Well made. Great value
Far superior to others we looked at with minimal additional cost. All glass shelves and soft close doors compare to a more expensive cabinet. We installed ourselves with little difficulty. Very happy with purchase so far. Only negative was that company would not ship to home for free but pick up at store went smoothly, just a bit inconvenient.

    Best medicine cabinet by far.
High quality, looks good and mounting is really ingenious. I would not hesitate to recommend this medicine cabinet. The next best thing was particle board. This one is all aluminum. It will never fail.

POOR QUALITY & UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Medicine cabinet arrived with two out of the three front mirrors broken. Called Customer Service to obtain replacement mirrors and was told that replacement mirrors cannot be ordered and the entire cabinet would need to be returned. However, since this was received as a gift and I do not have access to any of the purchase information they refuse to replace or allow me to return the cabinet. A disappointing experience with Pegasus and complete waste of time and money.

Pegasus 36 in. x 31 in. Medicine Cabinet in Tri-View Beveled Mirror
The medicine cabinet was relatively easy to install. I installed it surface mounted. I am glad that I read the previous reviews and found out that the mirrors could easily be removed for installation because the hinges are detachable. The mirrors went back on without any problem. The quality of this medicine cabinet is very good compared to others I looked at. The slow close feature of the mirror doors is really nice. However, I am concerned that after a couple weeks, one of the doors is not closing as slow as it originally did and the hinge is making noise. I am going to contact Home Depot to see if I can get replacement hinges under the warranty. Hopefully, the replacement hinges will allow the door to align properly, as there were no instructions as to how to realign the doors.

      Very well built
We purchased based on reviews and the product met our expectations. If you are going to flush mount them in the wall you should use someone who is a skilled carpenter. We put two of them side by side to form a wall of mirrors in front of our two sinks. Looks great.

      Great Quality Product
The end result is fantastic. The means to the end are a bit troublesom as the directions are lacking in necessary detail to make installation easy. The hardware is also sub par but not a problem to switch out. It most definately is a two person job to hang it - do not try do by yourself.

      Multiple Views
Not only do these mirrored cabinets provide more than ample storage space, the removable shelves enabled me to include even the largest bottle of mouthwash. When you open opposite doors you can get full views of the back of your head without turning around because mirrors cover all inside surfaces also. I like the fact that the doors self-close when left slightly ajar.

PEGASUS tri-view mirror / bathroom medicine cabinet
While starting a new bathroom remodel the thought of a mirror/medicine cabinet sounded like a good idea. Shopping around all that was available was some small two-door models with hefty price tags. The Pegasus tri-view, three door medicine cabinet was by far the best deal around. The hinges have a nice feature allowing the doors to clip in and out with ease for cleaning. The primary aluminum unit is susceptible to scratching, but comes with some protective plastic sheeting, so it is wise to leave the plastic on until the final installation. The plan was to recess a cabinet, so there is some preliminary facts to consider before the purchase. The wall luckily had a six inch cavity that is host to the sewer vent pipe (stink stack) and that allowed for plenty of room. The bad news was the stink stack was in the way and would get moved one and a half inches. The wall was a non-support wall, so there was no need to over brace the top and bottom for framing. A light frame was needed on one side to reattach the sheet rock after the stink stack relocation. Another concern was to make sure that the thickness of flooring materials and the sink cabinet and counter are added in to the overall height making sure the mirror doors will clear the top of the faucet. A new style gooseneck faucet may rises above the height of the sink counter, back splash, so make sure all these items are figured in before cutting the opening. Pre-planning is the central issue to a successful install, and as long as all the bases get covered this cabinet fit and mounted well. Be careful when unpacking the unit. It has considerable weight so removal of the doors and shelves is smart in order to manipulate the cabinet when checking fit before final installation.

      ENTHUSIASTICALLY PLEASED!!
I am enthusiastically pleased with my purchase of the Pegasus Model SP4589 36" x 31" medicine cabinet!! I chose the Home Depot in-store order pickup and it too was a good experience even though there was some confusion whether the item had actually been delivered and where it was in the store. They finally located it and when they brought it out and I was pleasantly surprised to see it "sandwiched" and solidly strapped between two wooden pallets. They removed the pallets as they loaded the carton into my vehicle home I went. Although other reviewers had the unfortunate problem of breakage in shipment, mine was perfect. It could not have been packed any better and to think how many times it was handled and knocked around since its manufacture in China. This is a VERY well-engineered item and its components are top notch, including a polished stainless steel carcass, extruded aluminum wall anchorages, flawless high quality mirrors, tempered glass shelves and especially the slow-close hinges. Every surface of the polished steel, mirrors and glass was covered with a pull-off protective plastic film to prevent scratching and fingerprints during installation. The entire unit was perfectly square and pre-assembly was flawless. Adjustment of the hinges and alignment of the doors was perfect. All installation screws, caps, clips, etc. were present and carefully bagged. The mounting screws are even stainless steel to prevent corrosion. The first and most important step of installation is making sure to initially place the bottom bracket solidly and level (for a surface mounted cabinet). I'd estimate installed weight of the cabinet to be 50+ pounds so I was fortunate to be able to hit four studs and didn't have to use the plastic anchors. I installed my cabinet so that the bottom edge is approximately 12" above the countertop, which easily clears the faucet by three inches. The entire unit is exactly "symmetrical" and can be rotated top-to-bottom 180 degrees before installation in case you want to change the direction the doors open. One significant item that isn't mentioned in the installation instructions is that the cabinet doors are easily removable WITHOUT tools by simply pushing a little release button at the rear of each hinge. Just be sure to note the position of each door and re-install it in the same opening you remove it from or you risk the chance of misalignment. This was important for me because I mounted the unit by myself and removing the doors reduced the weight by more than 50%. Once the cabinet carcass installation is complete the doors simply snap back into place. I love the slow-close feature afforded by these deluxe hinges – the same ones used on my bathroom vanity doors. The quality and value of this unit cannot be beat for the price.
