Warped a little. Cuts we’re good .I like extra thick support

Had to return one as it had cracked in a crucial spot. The return was not much better but did hold up so far and the 3rd had a lg knott in the middle.

The cuts weren't the same from step to step which made it very difficult to install

One of the stringers came apart where it was cheaply put together. Poor quality

Fast and easy shipping. Which was a little nervous about doing. But everytime I'd go to the store. They didn't have any and we had no steps going to the basement in our new house. Received in Perfect condition also was easy to install.

They didn’t fit but were a good quality

I’ve used 2 sets of these now (3 each) and I’ll parrot what others have said. They’re certainly not perfect. 2 were cut 1/4 inch (or they shrunk after cutting) shorter on the treads, leaving a potential gap on the center tread (I put them in the center position). One was also twisted. So, they save time and they are “treated” for rot resistance. If you cut your own from a 2x12 you won’t have a treated stringer, but it will probably be cut right. So overall I’d say they’re just average at best. Your mileage may vary.

Pretty good, one was a little narly on the first step but very useable.

The stair stringers were just what I needed to make new deck stairs that met code. Now my sons deck has new safe stairs for the family to use.

In regard to cuts, two of the three I ordered matched up perfectly, while the third was off a fraction of an inch. This threw things off a bit in the final staircase assembly. After a few adjustment cuts and alot of cursing, it ended up working.
