The softness and color of lighting is just what I wanted. The branding is right in the middle which is not ideal. I will not buy again because of that. If the bulb is enclosed it wouldn’t matter.

Great LED upgrade from original bulbs.

Global printed the label for the bulb on its top where it is very conspicuous when uncovered. I wish they had not done that. Under a lampshade, it would not matter, but these bulbs are made to be used without a shade.

All bulbs were defective: they started flickering after being on for a minute or less and did not stop. I returned them and purchased a box of equivalent "brand name" LED bulbs elsewhere which work perfectly.

Bulbs have writing on top of glass pertaining to UL specs, etc. Takes away from decorative effect on bulb when installed in bathroom vanity.

Great bulbs!

Good but not perfect. They produce a nice light over a good range. But, as others have mentioned, the printing on the end of the bulbs is an eyesore. I found that a Scotch pad with Motsenbocker’s takes off the printing easily. The other issue is that they do hum when dimmed.

Met expectations, cost effective in lue of incandescent bulbs.

The light bulbs were shipped to my doorstep and arrived in one piece. Once plugged into my bathroom light fixtures, they were brighter than expected. All good!

These LED light bulb companies continue to improve their product offerings , making them more and more like the old incandescent bulbs .These bulbs have a frosted glass globe not plastic like other bulb styles making them look exactly like the old incandescent ones . If you have one of those exposed globe bulbs fixtures above your vanity these are for you.

The 60-Watt equivalent Bulk Pack G25 globe medium (E26) base filament LED light bulb is a great replacement bulb for traditional incandescent bulbs. The color temperature of this light bulb is Soft White (2700K). My choice for a bathroom would be a daylight (5000K) bulb so that colors are brighter and sharper. These LED light bulbs are dimmable, have a Frosted all-glass exterior and provide an Omni-directional (360) distribution of light. The LED filament light bulb uses only 5.5-Watt of energy w3hile providing 500 lumens. The manufacture lists a 15,000 hour lifespan and provides a 3-year warranty. From a decorative standpoint, the manufactures information is printed on the face of the bulb, thus being visible in all fixtures. (This information could be easily removed using a suitable solvent). These bulbs are made in China.

I got these bulbs to replace some old incandescent bulbs in a light bar fixture above our bathroom sink. They give off a nice warm light that is indistinguishable from the warm incandescent bulbs. I was holding out for dimmable LEDs because I do have a dimmer switch on this fixture, which is really nice if you have to wake up early or get up in the middle of the night. Plus they give off very little heat (the old incandescent bulbs actually scorched the ceiling over the years!), use very little energy and should last a long time.

Looking at this LED bulb, it looks exactly like the incandescent bulb that it replaced, the size and shape are exactly the same as the incandescent. It has the same screw in base and goes on instantly with out hesitation. It has been working great about 3 weeks, I used these 6 bulbs above a bathroom mirror and can not tell the difference between these and the old round bulbs they replaced. The biggest difference is they save a lot of electricity and they do not get hot, I expect them to last for a long time.

A nice globe style light bulb in a low cost LED, are very nice for applications such as vanity. These are rated at 60 watt but don't seem that bright to me. Thus in an application with multiple bulbs, would be the best use. I tried them in the powder room above the mirror (3 bulbs) but I just didn't like the hue and lack of light for that room. But they are indistinguishable from a standard incandescent bulb and should be useful in places where a much sifter light is desired.

40-Watt Equivalent G25 Globe Frosted Glass Filament Dimmable LED Light Bulb Soft White (6-Pack) >>> I was very excited to try these globe lamps for my bathroom mirror light bar. The LED technology is fantastic and makes for a bright light without all the actual power consumption. Being a frosted lamp it makes for a nice look when the lamp is exposed , however this version of a globe lamp has all the technical specks printed in the END of the lamp, fully exposed for all to see. usually a globe lamp has the specks on the side neck of the bulb. So it does, a bit, ruin the look for an exposed lamp. That's the only reason I gave a 4 star rating instead of a 5. The shipping was also VERT fast -so that was impressive.

Those are great! It is hard not to overestimate the technological leap forward brought by LEDs. For instance, those are 4W light bulbs that can replace 40W filament light bulbs. With at least four bulbs per bathroom unit, there are quite a few watts saved here in the process. How does it light up? Pretty well, I find, a soft white light that is great for putting make-up or for a clean spotless shave. Highly recommend.

LED lighting options and quality have come a long way in the past few years; needless to say I am a big fan! These globe lamps are ideal for use in over-the-sink bathroom light bars and their rugged construction also allows them to better withstand the vibrations compared to incandescent bulbs when used in ceiling fans. The good things are: 1) Heavy filaments leading to the LED elements provide for long life 2) LEDs only use a fraction of the energy (~10 to 20%) of incandescent bulbs to provide the same light output ... less heat to dissipate 3) LEDs typically require about 50% of their capacity to provide full brightness ... longer life 4) Quality light is Soft White at ~2700 degrees Kelvin I would recommend this product.

Plenty bright for an LED bulb. It actually seems to offer 60 watts worth of light, which some LED bulbs do not. The round globe styling is very nice, reminding me of the old incandescent globe bulbs. You can actually use these for a vanity light bar and they don't look like typical LED bulbs, with the round shape and nice frosted finish hiding the LED elements inside.

These are a very good replacement for any old 40-watt globe bulbs. The frosted glass is soft white so it reduces blare harshness. Globe LED bulbs are finally becoming more available. These are dimmable, but that is not relevant to my needs. I use these in my bathroom vanity lights. Like most Americans, I went from incandescent to mercury-containing CFLs (‘curlies’) to LED bulbs. I do think it’s past time for the industry to better educate the public on lumens, color, and wattage—us in the ‘older’ generation can easily relate to “40-Watt equivalent” because we grew up using standard incandescent bulbs all our lives (I don’t think this isn’t true anymore). What matters is brightness (lumens), color (e.g., soft white, daylight), LED wattage.

This 6-pack of G25 bulbs is a good value for a quality LED product. The 2700K color is on the more yellow side instead of harsh blue or white, so I find that they work well in bathroom vanity light fixtures, and the globe style is more elegant than a standard style bulb. At 4 watts (the equivalent of 40 watts in the old incandescent bulbs) they are efficient, and not too bright for use in a multi-bulb fixture. Like all LEDs, they are instant-on. They don’t need a minute to warm up to full brightness like compact fluorescent bulbs, and only one-thenth the heat of a "normal" incandescent bulb. Although they are listed as being dimmable, the fixture that I am using them in does not have a dimmer. Keep in mind that these are frosted, not clear glass. Overall, I am impressed with these bulbs, found these to be a good price and the right quantity in the package for my fixture.

I love the warm light of these soft white LEDs. The "daylight" or "Bright White" ones bother my wife's eyes and are rather unpleasant. I am not using these in a dimming fixture even though they are dimmable. These are easy to use, don't get hot, save a lot of electricity and don't have any mercury in them like the florescent bulbs do. The only thing you can't use these for is to act as a heat source to keep your outdoor plants alive in the coldest winter days! We always did that with our citrus plants when it would drop below freezing. So if you need them for that, keep looking, otherwise there is no downside to these!

LED Bulbs seem to be the new wave. They seem to save energy, according to every report you can read. The box says these use 5.5 watts, yet deliver 60 equivalant watts of lighting. That seems about right to me, and it MUST save over the lond haul. They also last, like, forever! The box has them rated at 13.7 YEARS! I have to admit, I have some hard to change bulbs, and I might be converting over to the new standard of these bulbs. So, one of these days, you're going to have to replace your old bulbs with new ideas. To me, these work perfectly fine - in other words, 'normal'.
