So far, I love it. Only issue: it does not...
So far, I love it. Only issue: it does not have a refill light or auto-shutoff, so one has to look for the humidity level to drop (and the empty sound). I am otherwise pleased.

I hate that they break so easily, our first one lasted about 6 months, I would suggest if you have the extra money buy a more sturderier constructed humidifier.

Our house is 1930 sq ft n our inside humidity...
Our house is 1930 sq ft n our inside humidity was 29 - 32 before we got this humidifier. After 7 days our humidity is between 46 - 50, we set it at 50 n now it also cycles on n off which is great. During winter months I get eczema because of low humidity. This humidifier has helped tremendously!

Not as advertised
Ran this unit in a 500 sq ft room for 2 days on #3 fan setting ,it did not raise the humidity by a single degree! Briefly tried #4 fan setting, noise is ridiculous!! Definitely do not recommend this unit , worst humidifier i've ever tried .

hello, Camps! Low outdoor temperatures and low outdoor humidity levels can make it hard to raise indoor humidity levels. If you are adding a humidifier to your home for the first time, or running your humidifier for the first time this season, we recommend putting it on the highest setting and placing it in the most centrally located room in your house. Let your humidifier run until the desired humidity level is reached. We recommend 40-50% when temperatures are above freezing, below freezing, set your humidifier between 25 -35%. You may raise your desired humidity level as the outside temperatures rise.
In addition, check to make sure your wick is fully saturated all the way to the top.
If this does not bring your humidity levels up within a few days, please call us at 1-800-547-3888, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 to 5:30 CST., so we can run through some troubleshooting with you. -Melissa, AIRCARE

Simple, effective
Purchased for large bedroom. At lowest fan speed it provided a noticeable rise in humidity level and operated for more than 24 hours without requiring refill. At higher fan speeds a but too noisy for sleeping. The digital humidity meter can be set to desired level and seems to be surprisingly accurate, shutting off when set level reached. Fan also shuts off when water used up. I prefer this evaporative type of humidifier to the ultrasonic due to simplicity and absence of white dust residue, although you should use the filter solution additive and will need to change filters, not sure yet how frequently.

Delivery was fast. The humidity readout on the humidifier was always at least 5 to 7 percentage points higher than the two humidistats I have in the house. The unit was showing 44 percent when I shut it off to add more water. After the fill it shot up to over 60 percent and would not come down. My others were still reading at or under 40. I'm sorry it didn't work out as I loved the top fill. A friend has the same unit and has used hers for two or three years without problem. Just my luck. It's going back.

Hello! Our humidifiers are made to put a lot of moisture into the air. We would probably get a lot of complaints if they didn’t. With that powerful output comes a little more noise; most of our customers liken it to a box fan. If you find it bothersome, we recommend running your unit at the highest speed during the day, then reducing the fan speed while you are sleeping. I do not want to install a humidifier in my small townhouse furnace. This humidifier requires daily water addition and weekly maintenance but does the job for the five months needed. This one replaced an identical one which lasted 3 winters; a bit short but OK. The humidity sensing switch on the power cord seems to have failed on the original unit. Sound is OK I run it on speed 2. Higher speed would be noise intrusive. It keeps the one story house at 35% humidity.

This humidifier works really well. It didn't take long for the humidity level in our home to rise up with this. I love that it has four fan speeds and I am able to keep it on two which is very quiet. My plants really are loving the added humidity!!!

Not hard to fill and doesn't need filling as often as another one I had. Brings up the room humidity pretty fast. I am very pleased with this one. And the price was very reasonable.

I have run this thing in an 800 sq ft apt for three months. I was happy I was getting quite nice humidity. Then for a time it just didnt put out anything to speak of. Recently I noticed that the output was way up again. And monitoring the rooms with a hygrometer it showed good humidity. Then I decided to check the humidity on my weather app. The humidity in the room was just what the humidity outside was.
I think it is a useless item. It does nothing to add any significant boost to the humidity in my environment. Sorry I waited so long to give it a chance. Now I don't know if I can return it. I do have a service contract. Maybe I can trade up to something that works.
Don't bother with this item.
