We made the common mistake, twisted the arm so tight the washer pushed up into the fixed pipe and leaked at the attachment. After reading reviews, replaced the washer, replaced threading with new Teflon tape and twisted arm until we felt a hint of tension then completed the turn placing the arm in our desired position. What do you know? No leak. Might next time buy an arm where the bolt isn’t fixed, and can be adjusted independently, but for the price it’s worth it. Our pipe is too high, so close to the ceiling, this has fixed the problem. Good luck

The extension provided clearance so the shower head didn’t interfere...
The extension provided clearance so the shower head didn’t interfere with our claw foot tub shower curtain. No more stray water on the floor after showering!

Item is a described, easy to install, arrived in good...
Item is a described, easy to install, arrived in good condition on time. Only challenge, we can't stop the leaking at the connection. Used plumbers tape, bought new washer, even tried 2 washers, but nothing is stopping leak. Thankfully the worst is when the water is running, just a slight drip when off.
