The color of the item is a nice brushed nickel that will prevent finger prints. It is a nice quality metal and matches the light switch cover. It's a nice update to our room.

I've purchased other plates from this series in the past, in both the brushed bronze and brushed nickel. This brushed bronze plate recently purchased is lighter in color so it no longer looks brushed bronze, so is not as attractive.

This is a very well made metal switch plate. It conforms nicely to the rocker style switches I purchased. The finish matches the brushed nickel finish of the other fixtures in the bathroom. I prefer the exposed screws over the hidden style because of the fitment of the cover. My only desire would be to have gotten this from the store, rather than wait for it to be delivered as it was not available in stock.
