It's was fairly simple to install and they look great.

Great look and easy to install.

Firelogs started splitting. It is releasing powdery substance and lots of sooth. It worked fine for first few weeks but then we started seeing black deposits all over our fireplace.

Working flawless and really good quality

It was only installed about two weeks ago and the switch log went our first and would not light the fire and now the fireplace will not light at all. The gas valve is faulty according to the manual. Very poor quality merchandise.

This has been great. The flames/logs look pretty realistic. There is a lot of warmth that comes off theses logs/flames. It warms up our living room (150 sqft) pretty well. As for installation, you can do it yourself if you have a gas line already going into your fireplace. If not, then you definitely need a professional to set up the gas line into the fireplace. Also, make sure that your fireplace is vented (the flue is open and air gets sucked into fireplace). The directions weren't the most clear, but it's not hard to figure out how to set this up yourself if you have reasonable knowledge. It took about 1.5 hours to set up, but a lot of that was just cleaning up my fireplace and figuring out the best way to configure the logs for the right looking flames.

Great gas logs...puts out a fair amount of heat...pretty fire as well. Ignition system takes some getting used to but, once you do, it's easy to work...option to leave the pilot light on or re-ignite with each use. Do it the right way and hire a plumber to do the install.

Arrived sooner than indicated. Install went well except fire kept going out soon after turning up gas. Finally determined that the thermocouple was not set far enough into pilot light. Once adjusted, fire kept burning and looks great!

Love! We did a ton of research trying to find the perfect ones for us. This was a good fit (smaller size) for our previously wood burning fireplace. We wanted one that wasn’t the cheapest available where quality might suffer, but also not a ridiculously high priced one. Great in the middle price!

Overall these are very nice gas logs. The logs look great, installation was easy and the kit included some nice things like a flexible, non-whistle gas connector. 2 things to call out: First, the Manual Pilot valve on the side of the burner increases the width of the log-set by ~ 6 inches. Make sure you account for that extra width. Secondly, I wish the detent for the pilot was more robust. It's very easy to turn the knob past "Pilot" to the "Off" position when turning the fire off, especially when the knob is warm. It essentially turns the unit into a match light set unless you're really careful turning the knob.
