The umbrella comes together easily. Easy to operate. keeps the sun off the table area. Material is not as nice as my last umbrella, but that one cost $350., so this one is easier to afford so it makes more sense.

My first metal pole umbrella which replaced the wooden shafted umbrellas I have had in the past. This is sturdier and easier to open and close with the crank system that the rope and pulley system on the wooden umbrellas I have had. I would recommend this to anyone both for quality and ease of use.

This is a beautiful umbrella, however, the tilt part broke almost immediately. Now I have a permanently tilted umbrella and it looks awful. I will have to replace it with another brand. I do not recommend this umbrella.

Looks okay, but the crank does NOT work as described. In fact, as you crank it up.... and up and up, it gets there, but then you have to keep cranking upwards to get it DOWN, because cranking it down does nothing. Nada. Zilch. We had to resort to grabbing hold of the umbrella on the outside "ribs" and guiding it down like a petulant child and, at the same time, cranking UP. Very weird. What's worse, after I paid what I had thought was a good price for it, I saw the same umbrella in a GROCERY store a half mile away for $35 cheaper. GREAT. Double whammy. I bet the stupid crank works, too :(

Quite nice umbrella, my only concern is that the fabric is somewhat thin, adequate to protect from the sun but it may be less durable

Bought this umbrella last summer - gently used for about two months before going into safe storage. I just pulled it out today and it’s broken. The tilt mechanism on the umbrella no longer works - stuck on a permanent tilt - it will not lock into the upright position. I would not recommend this product. Very disappointed.

made well, easy to use. Offers shade . We had a 6" umbrella, this provides much more shade and fits in the same holder.

The color is listed as BEIGE and the photo looks like a nice off-white and the real color is really a light tan. It looks like a thicker fabric in the pic but it's fairly thin. The price was right, we'll see how they do in the coming sun!
