Put two sets of batteries in and unit still didn't work. Probably cost 25 cents to make. Returned both as I had purchased two hoping to put one in my Mom's house. Bought the ole timey analog thermometer/humidity version to replace this and it works great.

Simple, small thermometer that does exactly what it is supposed to. Easy and quick setup. I got it for a bedroom that is at the end of the air conditioning line to see the difference in temperature from downstairs. My only (small) complaint is that it doesn't come with a battery.

AcuRite is not accurate!

I purchased this and checked it against my HVAC and a GE dehumidifier. It was consistently lower by 10% in multiple location including side by side. I would not recommend this product.
