The sink arrived well packaged and damage free. Aside from the sink, the package included 2x strainer assemblies, one for each basin, and 10x clamps, as well as installation instructions and a counter top cut-out template. I replaced an existing older sink, so did not need to cut out the counter top. Installation of the sink was very straightforward and easy. The instructions showed how each sink strainer assembly was to be mounted to the bottom of the basins. (As I was using the sink disposal from the old sink, it was necessary to move that adapter over to the new sink). Per directions, the sink was pre-fit into the counter top opening. A pencil was used to outline the edge of the sink, and then the sink was removed. Silicone was generously added to the counter top between that pencil line and the opening in the counter top. The instructions said to insert a provided screw into each clamp, and slide the head of the screw into one of 4 rails along the bottom edges of the sink. 3 clamps on each long edge and 2 clamps on the short edges. It was noted that the clamps should be aligned parallel to the rails, and then once the sink is inserted into the counter top, the clamps are to be rotated 90 degrees to be perpendicular to the rails, so they will catch the bottom of the counter top. Once the sink was dropped in and the clamp screws were tightened, it was only necessary to wipe away remaining silicone with a damp rag, install the faucet and connect the plumbing. The sink itself has an insulating coating on the bottom side of each basin. This helps the sink not sound so “tinny” and thin, and to cut down on noises. The folds/creases stamped into the sink are very crisp and clean. The bottom of the sink is nice and flat, so glasses and other taller dishes placed in the sink aren’t as inclined to fall over towards the drain. The finish on the sink feels good, if slightly coarse. I believe after just a few weeks of use it will be ideal. The only thing I thought could be better is it is a little difficult to find the hole for the strainer when putting it in, it would be nice to have some kind of guide to help it into the hole. All in all a very nice sink at a decent price.

We are replacing an older 6 inch deep top mounted sink with this fabulous 8 inch deep sink. A top mount sink drops in the existing cut-out and this was the perfect fit. Measure not only the outer dimensions but the inner dimensions under the sink. Check to make sure you have sufficient room under the sink and the plumbing lines up. If plumbing adjustments need to be made, you will be ready. Simple to follow instructions with template. This exceptional sink has two equal 50/50 basins, quality made and insulated to control sound. Comes with an American Standard single lever controlled faucet. (not shown). I have another sink I will using that faucet in and will submit review. I love having more room to wash dishes, fill dog bowls and clean up. Absolutely delighted with this Super Upgrade.

Yes easy to assemble and I love the look and faucet is awesome to use.

We have been using this sink for a while now and are very impressed by it. It replaced a thinner, shollower, and smaller sink in our manufactured home. Installation required cutting the counter out a bit bigger and modifying the side panels inside the cabinet to accomadate the increased depth. We also had to redo the plumbing as well due to the increased depth. Two drains were included and one was used for the new sink while the garbage disposal was easily installed on the other side. Our existing faucet was also moved to this new sink without issue (and is much easier to install before the sink is dropped into place!). Despite all this work, most of which caused by changing sizes, it was well worth it. The faucet no longer flexes due to the thin metal of the old sink. The increased depth of the basins is also a great improvement. We still have the great look of a stainless sink which is easy to keep clean and in my opinion never goes out of style. We are very happy with this new sink and it has been one of the best upgrades to our kitchen so far as far as utility.

I got this sink to replace a composite granite one that I bought that had this weird crazing pattern to it. It is beautiful, I wasn’t sure that I wanted stainless steel again but this was a great choice, it’s absolutely beautiful, very sleek looking and yet it will look great in my sort of country kitchen. Now I just need to find someone to install it!

The American Standard "Colony" Pro Drop-in Stainless Steel 25 in. 3-Hole Single Basin Kitchen Sink Kit comes complete with drain assembly, installation hardware and instructions which include a cutout template. The 20 gauge stainless steel sink is 8" deep with rounded corners and raised sink edge to keep water where it belongs. The bottom is insulated which will keep sounds to a minimum. This sink, at 25" in width, is a good choice for a smaller kitchen.

Colony Pro drop stainless steel sink is perfect for smaller kitchens, It is durable and the stainless resists the everyday chores. True to the size it fit easily in the new sink. The connections found at The Home Depot made connecting to the water source easy. With a shallower sink you use less water and save time, Keeping in mind that it is a great buy and faucet system accents this unit.

The Colony American Standard double bowl sink is roomy, making it easy to handle all your culinary chores. It is 8 inches deep which helps keep splashing water in the sink much better than the older models that were only 6 inches deep. It comes with two drain assemblies and the hardware to install. The 20 gauge stainless steel is a lighter version compared to the more pricey and better sinks made of heavier 16 or 18 gauge steel. But it is perfect for the budget conscious customer.

I would recommend this to a high end rental. At my personal home I have an 18 guage stainless steel sink. This Colony Pro is a 20 GUAGE STAINLESS STEEL. For about $50 more, you can probably find 18 guage, which is the standard nowadays for good quality that doesn't bend in the slightest bit when you push your finger hard against it. I think though for the price this is ok for a rental unit to some degree.
