What a piece of junk
Bought two of these figuring we'd update the two bathrooms. After trying for over an hour to get one handle installed, I gave up. This 'compression' type of fitting needing pressure to make the underlock grab & screw tight to hold the handle in place is worthless unless your countertop is rough underneath - even then I doubt I'd trust it long term. I happen to have a vanity top that's relatively smooth underneath & 3/4" deep. Wouldn't grab/lock for anything. Too bad too, I liked the look of the faucet. Never even opened the second faucet set, packed the first one back up & returned them to Home Depot. Never again American Standard, from now on it's either Kohler, Moen or Delta for this woman. Wish I'd read the reviews here before I even bothered.. What a waste of time.

A beautiful faucet at a good price.
A beautiful faucet at a good price. It was easy to install. All items labelled and color coded. I used plumbers putty instead of supplied rubber grommets.Braided, stainless steel supply lines were included. Other reviews warn of problems later. Not sure since just installed. It comes with a lifetime warranty so do save your receipt

Perfect.
Finishing touch to my bathroom update. I love the design. Not trendy.

Smooth, Classy Design
Nice smooth, easy-to-clean design! Probably the simplest installation I've ever seen - just plug in the lines and the drain connector; few tools needed. All-metal construction (no external plastic parts) says "quality". The faucet handles came pre-assembled on the valves which saved time and eliminated the risk of stripping the handles or valve stems during installation. Recommended!

Nice Style and Finish
This mid arc bathroom faucet is a very nice touch to up date your bathroom. I like that the faucet has a mid arc so there is no over splashing with a regular bathroom sink which is usually not that deep. I also like the satin finish which compliments any bathroom décor. This was also very easy to install and the directions were well written.

Just average
Too many parts to install. The pop up rod is part of the spout and has to be installed. Rather not have it in sink as water flows down drain better w/o drain pop up

Returning
Just took the set out of the box and found the satin nickel finish is defective. Wish I had read the previous reviews before making my purchase, but I thought American Standard was a product I could trust and depend on. Whatever happened to quality control checks before the product leaves the factory? Will be returning it to the store.

Installation made so easy and saves time. Nice faucet!
This is a must buy especially for the home owner that does his own installation. You can actually install this faucet in less then 15 minutes . A very good product that has a good warranty behind it if you need it.And at a good value.

Poor Quality - Avoid this product.
I was replacing an old faucet and bought this without reading the reviews. Big mistake. This would be easy to install if you could tighten the nuts. They are plastic and don't really grip well. I couldn't get the spout to tighten. Avoid this product and get something else. I am returning this and getting a different product

    So far, so good.
We purchased this for a full bath remodel. We'd installed the 4" version in our downstairs powder room a few weeks ago and haven't had any problems. This 8" version is a little difference and the price is more expensive for not really a whole lot more. It is nice that all the hoses come with this 8" version, you litteraly don't need any additional parts in most cases. These are super easy to install, The one thing I see others having problems with is the handles staying tight, this is true on the 4" version reviews too. I've not had problems with the fit yet, but if I do, I'll just replace the "speed tighten" nuts they provide with standard ones. I haven't had the faucet that long, so I can't comment on how it will hold up over the long term.

Run from this product. Cheap plastic junk.
I liked the way these looked and were a reasonable price so thought why not. One thing I've not liked from other faucets is the drain assembly so the speed connect sounded great. My plumber came to install and it didn't work. Ran back to HD and bought another so he could install. Lasted a week and now broken. Now I'm going to have to either install myself or call back the plumber to install something else (definitely won't buy this again!) for more $$$. I installed this in another bathroom and debating on waiting until this inevitably breaks and deal with it not matching or just take it off and replace now. Very disappointed that this items with such poor reviews remains available at home depot.

    Faulty Design
The handles are not durable at all. I have had to replace the same parts to correct the handles from slipping out of place.

meets my homeowners budget and shows handsomely. I wish that the tub/shower fixtures where avail
I am please with the quality and ease of installation as to the fixtures as well as the shallow sink for my vanity project. I wished that the product line / style had a tub & shower to order. The supplier and subsequent shipper(S) where a joke at the highest order. I lost more the total job was billed out for.

    Marquette satin nickel faucet
This item was installed on march5,2014 . Today is June 7 , 2014 and there is rust in my new porcelain sink caused by the drain piece. Now I will have to have a new sink installed. Not much of a bargain. I would suggest purchasing another brand and paying a little more.

      Looks and Works Great!
We bought this faucet at Home Depot and had it installed by our Plumber in the main floor powder room. It looks very nice... a rather elegant look if a faucet can be elegant. Our goal was to give this powder room a more updated appearance with new vanity top, faucet, lighting etc. For far less than $1000. spent overall, this room looks great. The plumber had no issues installing the faucet, even commented on what an attractive faucet it was, and so far no leaks, no issues, no problems. Based on my experience, I would look at this faucet again if we update the other bathrooms in the house. This is June 2014 so maybe American Standard has corrected the problems that caused problems for earlier reviewers?

Excellent Customer Service! Great product, second time around.
We had the same problems with the hot side not completely shutting off. After several replacement valves were installed and eventually failed over a period of 14 months, American Standard sent a completely new faucet. The new faucet installed easily and 4 months later we have had no issues. We also received a $25 Home Depot gift card 1 week afterwards with a formal apology. Though we were irritated with the original problems we were pleasantly surprised with the customer service experience which was consistent throughout the process. This positive customer service easily eclipses the frustrations we experienced with the product, and will make us more likely to buy American Standard products in the future.

      Easy install with NO leaks
12 year old faucet had a leaking junction. After spending hours fighting the inaccessible nuts and hardened plumbers putty to remove the old faucet, I saw this in Home Depot with American Standard's EASY CONNECT. I had read other reviews about handle problems, but those are now pre-assembled and quick to install. All the plastic snap fittings were easy and without leaks. The few nuts required were all fastened by hand, not a single tool needed.

      don't try this one
don't try this one. Instructions are iffy. first try faucets would not tighten down. called AS. they said to push down then tighten.ok still problem. Looked at the reviews on line. Rubber gasket goes on top, ok problem solved. Not quit. when you snug up one of the faucets it grinds and barely will move. Way too many issues with this unit. I am returning both units and will have to think long and hard on purchasing this brand again. My spouse changes colors and faucets way to often so I am not a rookie at this. this is the worst unit I have ever tried to install and the first 1 that I gave up.

      Works greats
The people writing the reviews below need to pay attention to details. I too had a drip on the hot water side. I took the cartridge out and found the O ring was not quite in place. No big deal if you are a bit handy. Also, the faucet handles don't move if you tighten them enough. You just have to put some muscle into it. We have had ours installed for 7 months and I am looking to buy another.

      Do not buy this product
I bought three of these faucets, 2 for our master bathroom and one for our guest bathroom. Within a few weeks the both faucets in the master bathroom had to be replaced because they were dripping. First American Standard sent replacement parts, a cartridge. I wasn't able to install the cartridge so I called back and asked for them to send me the whole handle assembly. I was able to install the new faucet assembly with no problem. A few months later the another problem with the faucets dripping including the faucet in the guest bathroom I asked them to send me a complete assembly for the hot and cold handles. It's been a few months without a problem but I expect to have to install new faucets again within a year. This is a horrible product, poor quality to say the least. I'm especially annoyed because the faucets I replaced were working but were dated AND I paid to have a plumber install the faucets too.

      Looks good but functions terrible
Good looking faucet but the water pressure is very low. The hot water lever was out of alignment after less than a month of use. Do not waste your money and look for other more reliable brands.

Great if you get one that doesn't leak
While the toolless installation is a breeze, the faucets themselves are a leak machines. We redid our bathroom and purchased two of these with our new vanity. One worked fine, the other dripped water immediately on the cold faucet side. Took it out, returned it, got a new one, but this box was missing a rubber seal. So, returned it, got a new one, took it home, wouldn't you know it, the cold water was leaking again, this time even worse than the original. Now going back to try a fourth one, perhaps four is a charm. Note I did not read the reviews online prior to purchasing and regret it now. I can say though on all of them I have not run into the faucet handles coming loose, every time they stay tight.

        Frustrating
Faucet handle moves no matter how much you try to tighten. There is some definite design issue that needs to be corrected by the manufacturer.

Nice looking but problems with hot water side
Purchased this faucet and installed it ourselves. The hot water side did not work properly as others have stated in their reviews. We were not willing to uninstall it and return it to the store. Instead, we contacted the mfg and told them the problem we were having. American Standard has EXCELLENT customer service. They sent us a replacement in two days. Then, a few days later, we received a nice letter and gift card from the mfg. We have not installed the replacement yet but will do so very soon. I have only given it 3 stars but once the replacement is installed, I will review again. Great customer service from MFG.

        Same as the rest
Follow up to original comment: Contacted the 1800 number listed in other replies to reviews and A.S. said they are going to ship me a new faucet set. I hope the design change has corrected the issue, and I do appreciate their responsiveness and customer service.

        Same as rest
Hot handle eventually comes loose and no adjusting or tightening gets dripping to stop. Very disappointed. Thought it was just me til saw the other reviews.

This product looks great but I'm having the same issue of many of the reviewers. The hot water handle is lose and leaks.
The hot water side of the sink leaks and is lose. Went online to see if there were any replacement parts and there weren't any listed for this product on the American Standard site. I tried to remove value and it wouldn't come out and it will not go back in properly. Poor design here, try something else. The product looks great but looks only get you so far.

Handles are sleek. Installation kit is easy compared to 12 years ago! We enjoy the look and so far the last 3 weeks we haven't had any problems since installation.
