Bought this tub in store and had it installed professionally. It was used very lightly and infrequently due to us being on vacation/in the middle of a reno. Nevertheless, I found 2 cracks in it within 2 weeks. My contractor had already installed and tiled around it, and now has to rip it out, install a new tub, and retile. So frustrating and costly for all involved. You get what you pay for I suppose! I'm am currently waiting to see if Home Depot will refund me, but I'm not optimistic.

Lost balance in the tub and my foot went right through the side of the tub creating a huge hole. DO NOT BUY!!

Had the tub professionally installed, set in mortar, noticed 4 day’s after installation it developed a huge crack on the corner. Thank god we hadn’t done tile work yet. Now it has to be ripped out and replaced.

We ordered this tub in April and it is now June and there are huge boils formed on the bottom of the tub!! I cannot even imagine the COST and MESS it will make having to rip this out and replace it with a quality tub!! I’ll be calling American Standard tomorrow, over $900 with tub, surround, and glass doors THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!

If you are linited to a 30x60” alcove......THIS IS THE TUB FOR YOU. the extra width in the middle really expands things!!!!! It has a perfectly angled backrest too. Extremely happy with it. Solid, level, beautiful

How can I put into words how much I love this tub? I don’t have a lot of space in my bathroom, so I was a bit worried that the curved lines would encroach on other fixtures. However, despite the fact I gained an extra 2-3 inches on either side of me while in the tub (such luxury!), It only pops out an extra inch. It’s so comfortable to lay in, the sides slope gently so you can lean back comfortably. As mentioned above, the tubs width is extended my about ½ a rulers worth and is also a bit deeper than my old standard tub. Also, It feels like good quality fiber glass that’ll stand the test of time (a lot easier to get into my second floor unit), and was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this piece, It’s perfect! 10/10 would buy again for every house I’ll ever own forever.

I love the shape of this tub and it is very comfortable. I paid a professional contractor to install the tub and had it tiled. It looked amazing when it was done! I was sooo happy. Unfortunately, it developed a crack a couple days after I first used it. It has a limited warranty. Of course, it does not include the amount of money it would cost for labor and new tile to replace it. The cost to take it out and put in a new one would exceed the cost of the tub. After spending $6000+ to remodel my whole bathroom around this piece of crap, I am going to have to live with it. I am going to try to have it touched up and hope it doesn't get any worse. I can't recommend this tub.

The assembly was super easy and fast.. great for more room in small bathrooms and for the extra space. Super Nice. It meets all expectations of a new bathtub.

Great look and stability when in it. I did put a bed of thinset mortar under it to give a sturdier feel but it doesn't really need it.

I knew that I was going to love this tub. It took me a while to find a great plumber who knew what he was doing. It is installed and looks great without the tile. The tilers are coming next week. I will update photos with completed look. I would highly recommend this tub!!!

The tub came as perfect as a photo . The tub was light and was carried up by one Man, amazing. The plumber installed without issue and the tub looks so cool with the ovation design. Very easy to clean and has a non slip bottom . I like my choice it worked out great.

I love this tub! It's nice and big. So glad I bought it. Very sturdy to! Looks great with the tile surround.

I love this tub, with only one caveat which I will talk about below. It is much deeper than our old tub and feel so much wider! It is really amazing! Some of the reviews are a little confusing about the "mortar bed". This tub has large flat "feet" that it sits on, and the mortar is only required to level the subfloor under the tub feet. Yes, the front curved shroud is a little flexible and probably not the strongest part of this tub, but standing in it, it feels rock solid. In fact, given how light it is, I was surprised how solid it feels. This was a pleasant surprise as we were replacing an "Americast" tub the previous owner of the house had drilled through to install a shower door. Home Depot should stock this tub everywhere! I had to drive 50 miles to pick one up, and I do not regret it one bit. The box is probable about a foot longer and six inches wider and taller than the tub is. HD online support helped me locate this and confirm that it was the correct hand. It was logged in the inventory as a "right hand" tub, but they called and checked, and lucky for me it was really a left handed one! My only criticism is that the top of the apron seems to be dead flat, so water is collecting along the edge of the tile surround and not running into the tub after a shower. American Standard should add a little positive drainage on the apron to correct this in their mold. I will point out that our house is pretty old and the subfloor may have been part of the problem. The installer may also have put downward pressure on the flange, or not had the nailers installed tightly... This is only a minor irritation. Overall, I do recommend this tub. My plumber liked it too.

The tub is the bomb! Spacious and beautiful. Worth the money. BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE wall surround it's cheap and flimsy!!! Unfortunately, no other wall surround fits we tried and had to return two of them.

We accidentally ordered two and will be taking one back to the Panama City store. But yes, I loved the one we kept and installed.

There were some areas of the tub that had a thin amount of fiberglass (enough to allow light through). Because it was only one the side walls I decided to stiffen it up my self and install it (I'm a contractor). It was an easier solution vs having to pack it up, return it and bring back a new one.

Fit perfecting in our remodeled bathroom, it is deep bright white and has a rib on the bottom for traction. We like that its kind of rounded on the outside but not that it sticks out. Havent taken a bath in it yet but excited to.

I like the shape of this tub. It gives a bit more space while using the shower, and it is very comfortable for a long soak. It is installed on a grouted floor, so it is very sturdy. Certainly an upgrade over the old one.

Great value bath. Easy to install. Has a matching shower door if you want one. Lots more space than a standard bath.

I love this tub. Paired it with a curved shower rod and it’s the best; it gives you so much room for just being a regular sized tub. And now if I shower in a non-curved edge tub it feels so small.

Coating chips and cracks easily. Online says it isn’t a mortar set but the instructions that came with it requires mortar set. Nice looking tub. Just wish it was more durable and didn’t require the mortar.
