It works well for me for the amount of weight and size of the foot print work for the small job to prepare the ground for paving stones. The cost of this product may be little too steep compare with some other hardware store after I bought it.

It’s a lot of work but then again it’s a manual tamper.

Easy to use and well balanced. The only issue I have is the handle is not smooth and should have been sanded better to avoid splinter.

Took a little practice to get the "feel" of it but it did the job nicely.

Works well until the asphalt repair starts sticking to the bottom. Probably a good idea to apply some oil to the bottom every so often.
