Great window for price, just had to drive 4 hours to get it, as was not available locally

My egress window was installed in 2001 and must have been hit by a rock or something and cracked. It was this model Anderson window CW14 L, same UPC, same SKU. I couldn't buy just the replacement glass so I bought the whole window (which cost almost twice as much as it did in 2001) and took it apart and replaced the hardware and glass without having to dig out my old window frame. I guess when a design works, you stick with it! This literally saved several days of work because the window is partially cemented and caulked in. Beside that, the best part is the only part I have to paint is the base where the crank is! I was able to just pull this piece of wood off the new window with the other parts and replace everything but the frame. The locks lined up and it fit perfectly!

These casement Windows are the best! They are star energy qualified, keep the cold and heat out, and the seal is 100%. Very smooth open and close. You can see the quality in the thickness of the glass and the well made frame. I only use Anderson windows. I will add that I painted these black and they held paint very well.

Easy to install and the built in insulation gap on the interior is great for sealing any draft or weather from entering the house. Window mechanism works smooth and closes tight with ease. Highly recommend.

The window is out of square

This is the 5th Andersen window I have installed in my never ending remodeling adventure of our home. I have purchased other brands and installed them due to limited resources at the time of installation and have always been disappointed with the other brands. The Andersen windows have always performed above expectations.

I need to return and order a different size. The size did not work. Thank you

Good window, nice that it is stock. Should come with a screen and more jambs than it does however.

I bought two of these and the quality is really nice. My only complaints are that one box was missing the handles and you have to purchase screens separately which is a hassle.

Didn’t come with the metal handle!! We failed inspection, because of it. Delayed closing!! Very upset

Well made, easy install snd use. And it’s an egress window which was necessary for my job.
