The kit states that it is for 2'x2' tiles. However it does not mention that it is for 2 outer rows of 2'x2' tiles and one middle row of 2'x4' tiles. It does not give you enough main tees to be built for all 2'x2' tiles. I have alot of extra tiles and the style I bought does not come in 2'x4'. It also gives you way more wall moldings than necessary. One of my boxes was missing the quickhang hooks and instead had a weird metal bar instead. I would say more but I am out of space to write more.

Worked out very well

I was redoing my laundry room and didn't want the classic and boring look of a drop ceiling. I wanted something that would look nice and perform all the same. This product fits the description and does its job well. The only complaint is that they ding up pretty quickly and it shows! So you have to be extra careful when installing and living around the tiles. This is the only tile I've ever worked with so I'm unsure if that's a characteristic of all tiles.

Wall tracks were not in the box.

Black color looks really nice. Hanging was considerably easier than the traditional method.

We just finished our basement and used this kit for the drop ceiling. It was fairly easy to put together - definitely needed to look for YouTube videos. My biggest complaint - tons of unused pieces. We used a 2x2 ceiling tile and had almost every single 4' piece left over (we used them for end pieces, so we did use some). Another store sells everything separately and I really wish I would have done my research before ordering. I ended up needing extra brackets/hooks and extra center braces.

Exactly what I was looking for to install in my utility room, A little pricey for the place it’s going in. Armstrong needs to lower their price point or offer discounts 139.00 to install 64 sf, not including tile or lighting.

The kit have everything you need for the framing, but it is the bare minimum. I end going to store to buy more parts. It would have been cheaper to just buy the parts separately from the store in the beginning.

Packaging had minimal protection for parts - be prepared to return and reorder after you open and inspect the materials

Easy to install, looks good. Easy to hang can lights on the grid. Will buy again if I need to hang more ceilings.

Pieces are too short and there is no way to buy extra wall moulding without buying an entire kit. Short pieces Make it very difficult to span area's where you have to drop one hvac.

I had a big project and used 14 packages. Was mostly pleased with the quick-hang system. The quick-hang brackets and wires are super solid and very easy to adjust! The main beams and crossbars are heavy duty and clicked together very securely. I used star drive screws to secure the quick-hang brackets and edge moulding - Worked great! My only critique is that I had to work around dings in 20% of the 6 foot main beams. They seemed to be the only pieces damaged from shipping and handling - Need more protection for the main beams! Overall, I am very happy with the result. The black grid with white tiles looks great!

Easy to install but very hard to find extra parts if needed.
