The rug came quickly. It was exactly what we expected.

So...like an idiot, I ignored all the other reviews that said this rug produced LOTS of fibers, because it was just so pretty and was just the bluish/seafoam color I wanted!!! Our room is pretty bland, with neutral wall paint, neutral couch color and neutral flooring, so this rug gave the room a soft pop of color that was really nice. We got lots of compliments on how it looked...followed by questions like, "Did you get a pet?" We have young kids, and the traffic definitely contributed to stirring up some of those fibers. But even when we weren't on it much, we still found 'tumbleweeds' of carpet fibers breezing through to other rooms. My baby started getting fibers in her eye every now and then :( ...and I had to try not to wear any dark colors because I'd end up covered! After doing a bit of research (believe me, we checked EVERY possible rug store before settling on this one...which we then had to return and go back to all those stores until we found another I could keep up with a little better), I now know the shedding is typical of wool. I just didn't know how much of my life I'd be committing to vacuuming by purchasing this rug. :-/ Before you buy, seriously consider how much vacuuming you want to do. Another reviewer said they had to vacuum once every day...ours was more like morning AND night. Ugh. Even though we noticed the problem right away, we kept it a little longer, thinking the shedding might die down if some of the top layer/new fibers were what was coming off. Nope...the shedding remained constant and it didn't slow down. The only other positive thing (aside from the color) was that Home Depot returned it without any problems.

Good quality. Looks great in my open living area. Color/pattern can go with any piece of furniture. Easy to vacuum and keep clean. Easy to move around considering it is 9 by 12.

The carpet color was as depicted on the website. The overall quality is good, although it does shed quite a bit. The pattern was exactly what we were looking for to complete our great room. Carpets of similar quality were more expensive, so - over all, we are quite pleased with this purchase.

The entry-way runner and carpet for my living room look better than I expected. The colors are beautiful and fit in nicely with our home. They feel great to walk on and know they will last for years. I received my order faster than promised.

So far, I'm quite pleased with the rug. Like many of the other reviewers, I have found that it sheds a lot of fibers. I'm not annoyed by this yet, though - I expected it after reading the reviews. Time will tell. It looks great, though, and has pulled my living room together.

This rug, in blue, looks absolutely gorgeous and is of high quality. However, the shedding issue is huge. I have owned very high quality rugs in the past, so I know wool sheds. I have the rug in my dining room, under a table with 6 chairs. When people sit and then get up, there is a huge pile of "shed" under the table where their feet were. I have even purposely rubbed these areas, thinking I will get the shed out, and it will be fine......but the shed never stops. Someone tell me it eventually does or rug might have to go back. Do like the 90 day return option.

this product was more expensive than a rug I purchased from overstock.com. It's very poor quality and the fibers shed over everything and it creates more dust and debri. If I were to repeat, I would not purchase

First the good news- the rug arrived very quickly (took a week to get to Hawaii...amazing!), and it is beautiful, soft and eye catching. Now the bad- this rug sheds ridiculous, insane amounts of wool fibers. I have vacuumed it 3-4 times for about 20-30 minutes each session, and it continues to shed like you wouldn't believe. The little fibers get EVERYWHERE. They spread across the floor, get on your furniture, stick to your feet/body and clothing, etc. It's worse than taking on 30 shedding Siamese cats. The fibers have invaded our entire great room. I can't even believe there is any carpet left to shed, and yet tufts of it come off daily. When will it ever stop?!?! If it doesn't, the rug is going back. Is this normal?

beautiful rug---just the soft colors I was looking for

The rug is slightly more than other rugs at Home Depot we were looking at. We were very happy with the quality and look. It was worth the extra $100 to have a higher quality rug that is much nicer than other less expensive Home Depot rugs we have purchased in the past.

It's the perfect size, pattern and color for my bathroom. The rug's thickness gives the area such an elegant look and it's presence makes a grand statement as you enter the room.

It looks great but it sheds like crazy, small fibers

I was hoping in spite of reading other reviews that the 'blue' color of the carpet in the store would be what I ordered. I can live with what arrived, but it's much more 'teal' colored than I had hoped. We live on a lake and I wanted the same water/sky colors inside to enhance our living space. The pattern identifies with the outdoors and the price was just o-k-a-y.

Bought this for our family room and was very happy with the quality. It was replacing a Pottery Barn rug at roughly the same price point and the quality is the same.

I am very pleased with the density of the rug. The color is also the same as the sample in the store.

Overall I am happy with this purchase. I am surprised by the amount of fuzz/lint that it generates, but i'm hoping that this will lower over time and with more vacuuming (it's been about 2 months now). My only complaint is that there are a few tiny white spots on the rug where there is no coloring (in places where it should be red), but these are really tiny so it's not noticeable to guests.

This carpet is a welcome addition to our family room, it tied together the walls and furniture and introduced a blue-green color into the room. I purchased it thinking it was more blue than the actual color, it l;eans a bit more to the green shades than the picture showed. I still enjoy the color combination and looks fantastic against the browns, tans and sea mist green already in that room. It does lose a lot of fibers and needs frequent vacuuming when new.

Good quality, densely woven rug. I haven't thad any problems with shedding that other reviewers mentioned.

For some reason this rug is darkening. Its not in a high traffic area or exposed to open space.

Rug seems to be good quality and has nice colors. To the other reviewer though that made the comment on it's shedding. All wool rugs have a tendency to shed large amounts for a period of time.

Not usualy one to write a review though I read tons. This product seemed like a great deal the colors were perfect and it felt like a quality rug. The rug arrived at the store in a timely manner which is unfortunately not the norm at depot from past experiences cabinets and specialty tools have had inexcusable delays. This rug is not squared off on the edges looks like it was cut and bound freehand by a person in training and after one week of vacuuming 2-3 times daily it continues to shed worst then any animal ive known. I havent had the oppurtunity to return yet but am left with no choice. After weeks of shopping and alot of disappointment from a reputable supplier that I frequent. I feel severely inconvenienced to say the least! I spend thousands here a month and still will not be considered for any form of compensation..Hopefully the return goes smooth..
