I had a interior cinder block wall that water seepage had caused the latex paint to bubble. I dreaded having to wire brush many square feet on a 40 X 50 X 20 building. This tool made the job quick & easy. I got the best results running the drill at lower speeds.

Terrible. The plastic threading that secured the arbor stripped out right away, so it's useless. Arbor just spins.

Great tool. I had old hard floor adhesive I could not scrape up or remove with chemicals. Put this in my drill and whacked off the adhesive. Lots of work but nothing else I tried did the job

I purchased the brush to remove a hardened grout dust and water stain. It was no help, however this is a difficult problem. A hand held wire brush was no help either. I will use it for other needs. purposes.

Just bought a new house and needed to remove paint drops and other paint and this made it so much easier and faster, Highly Recommended! ?????

The shaft is too short. It only sinks about 1/8" into the arbor, which has a very large hex cutout that isn't used at all. The bristles are just staples in a rubber belt, wrapped around an injection-molded plastic core that cost less than $1 to manufacture. The shaft is a cheap hunk of hex steel with a threaded hole in one end. The screw comes loose while you're using it, and if you overtighten it, you'll crack the plastic arbor. I prefer the traditional abrasive kind.

It did not worked as explained. Stop working properly at 2 hours of using it.

If you are stripping paint from masonry don’t waste your money on this, buy three 4” wire wheels instead. They do a much better job and will cost you less. I’m so disappointed in this product.

The Avanti Pro Stripper worked well removing years of paint from a concrete seat on my porch. The seat was painted by the previous owner, a professional painter who knew what he was doing. I used the stripper in conjunction with a paint remover. My only caveat being the bottom of the stripper would separate from the top while working. This action did not affect the operation of the stripper, but I wonder why that happened. It might be a result of the drill chuck not being as deep as other drills I have. One last thing, I did find a stripper I had used years earlier. I did use it as a comparison. It had metal spikes that kept breaking and flying everywhere. Needless to say, I stopped using it and went back to the Avanti. Not one spike broke off.

A great brush tool for scraping off rust or old paint. It’s quick & strips perfectly!

The housing on mine broke after only two days of use. Would recommend you buy a drill brush with a full metal housing.

It is well made. Rugged. I like that it had the mounting Shank integrated onto the stripping tool. The quality of all parts was professional quality. I did hours of work with it stripping rust off an old boat trailer and the stripping brush.did not deteriorate. It's a well made tool.

This was much more expensive than the Ryobi multi wire wheel pack, and didn’t work as well as they did. Overall I wouldn’t waste the money again.

Excellent for removing old pair from metal.

Got this to strip paint on concrete block in my basement, it worked very well but did wear down a lot but completed the task.

Aggressive tines could be of great use if the body of the tool was better built and/or not made of plastic. Plastic body slips from the mandrel easily

Fell apart after 2 hrs of use. I used to strip old paint off radiator. Not worth the 25$. Went to complain at HD and told they would not accept return because it was used. Lesson learned.

Dont use on fiberglass, will remove more than paint or gell coat.

Easy to assemble but not very effective in paint/rust removal
