Paint had tons of lumps in it
Opened paint up to find a bunch of little lumps in it. Used a paint mixer but that didn’t help. I called my local store and they said i could not return it, I could only contact Behr. I had to get the project done so I spent a day using a pair of panty hose trying to strain it

Sludge or Slime in my paint!
Bought this paint because of the good reviews and was happy to wait a little longer to get it as it was the color we wanted and again had great reviews. Get the paint open it and begin to stir and get ready to paint. Then noticed it had this slime like the paint had been frozen before or something. We had to go ahead and use it as the deck we were painting has to be inspected once complete as it was part of our home loan to have this done. I need to order more for our front deck and pillers so it will match. I'm a little unsure about ordering another 5 gallon since this is what we got. At this point I'm not sure how long the paint will last. Can someone contact me to ensure if I buy another and it's bad we will get a credit or refunded. We live in Ohio and the weather in changing quickly I cannot wait and wait to do it over if it is bad paint. I would like some type of credit or refund for this bucket but I dont that we will since we had to use it.

      Covered Concrete Porch
I bought the Deep Base and had them tint it, so this review does not strictly apply to this color. My porch had previously had indoor/outdoor carpet. After removal of the carpet and adhesive, there were dark stains and patchy-looking areas. The porch is protected from rain and direct sun, so I went for this Behr paint (which doesn't seem as hardy as some of the other concrete coatings, from reading the reviews). The advantage of this paint is--you can tint it. The color is Woodchuck PPG1016-6. It's a cocoa color that works with my roof and landscaping, and covers extremely well. I mixed in a pack of Rustoleum non-slip additive. The neighbors love it.

This is a nice anti slip floor/porch/driveway paint. I used this in my garage and it looked great. It went on easy after the primer coat that comes with it when ordering they ask you if you are going to use this on wood or concrete so you will get the right primer. This paint is thicker tan regular paint due to the anti slip properties. I'm hoping it holds up to the traffic. NOTE I GOT THE PICTURES MIXED UP WITH PFC-62 PACIFIC FOG PAINT MADE BY BEHR ON THIS AND THAT REVIEW

Excellent anti slip floor paint, Looked great on my basement floor. It has an etching/ primer for concrete or wood had to specify when ordering. It is thicker than your normal paint due to anti slip grit. It goes on easy and cleans up easier. It looks great I'll have to wait to see how durable it is with traffic and all. it dried rather quickly but waited a day or so before walking on it

First I must say that that I was impressed with the way it was shipped. Arrived in a ridgid cardboard box with plastic spacers to hold the paint cans in place. Second, I love the color. Pictures don’t do it justice. I’ve been waiting to paint with this for some time now, but it’s been one heatwave after another of 90+ and then humid and rainy after. I got this to repaint my deck which is about 140 sqft. The paint is indeed very thick and has tiny sand like particles to prevent slipping on it. I’m hoping it will cover well in one coat, but I will most likely do two, depending on how much is left. Can’t wait to use it and see how the color comes out on a larger scale. I’ve used Behr paint before and never had any issues during or after application.

I wasn't sure what I was gonna get with this. But I saw a cool way that a company used two colors of concrete paint to make patterns - they did squares like it was tile, but I figured I could so bricks, with the darker color in the gaps. I wanted to see what I got with the two colors I chose : Pacific Fog and Silver Gray. You can see how I tested them on a stepping stone in the pics. You should use a primer, but I didn't for the stepping stone as it was just a color and paint test. The good news is that while this is very thick it went on easily. It covered really well, too. Notice the two I got look darker on the website. In real life, Pacific Fog is barely gray and very light. Silver is what I would normally call gray. But not dark. I'll start the whole patio soon, but after testing, I feel confident that this is good paint and will allow for all kinds of creativity with two colors. I'm very happy with this.

This review is on the Behr Premium 1 Gallon # PFC - 68 Silver Gray Textured Low-Lustered Enamel Interior/Exterior Porch and Patio Anti-Slip Floor Paint. Hey this stuff is great! I needed some paint for my basement floor that was already painted before but had a lot of peeling and a bunch of slippery spots. As soon as I took off the lid and began to stir i was shocked by how thick it was. It was like someone took a bag of sand and dumped it in the can, It kind of scared me because I wasn't sure how difficult it was going to be to apply. But it went on smoothly with a roller and dried really quick, although they recommend 2 to 4 hours in between coats and 72 hours recommended before foot traffic. I would highly recommend. Easy soap and water cleanup and reasonably priced.

We used BEHR Premium 1 gal. #PFC-62 Pacific Fog Textured Low-Lustre Enamel Interior/Exterior Porch and Patio Anti-Slip Floor Paint on our poor front porch. The previous owners poured concrete over the original brick. But they were not the best at it. The stairs are uneven and wavy. There is also patches, cracks and peeling. Awesome. BEHR's Porch & Patio Anti-Slip Paint has made a huge difference. The project took a while due to summer high humidity and storms. We were finally able to apply the paint in 88 - 90 weather, but we were under a canopy. We found that Pacific Fog was so light it was almost white. Which made the errors in the concrete really show. (See photos) So we had to keep getting the paint darkened. Home Depot was very nice to keep adding black every time we went back. The final color is with a total of 6 oz. of black added. The errors still show a bit, but not nearly as much as with the lighter color. We ended up with three coats and no worries that it will be worn out any time soon. It is very easy to work with the paint. Make sure you swipe up drips fast or they will dry raised up and hard to cover. Be sure to take the time to do the cleaning and etching before starting. It is worth the time. We used Krud Kutter and it was very easy. Our porch is 2' x 6' with four steps and we did not even finish off a whole gallon. We even put it on thick in some places to try and fill in some dents, (where someone tried to break up the concrete with a sledge hammer). The paint is not self-leveling, but it did do a pretty good job. It also filled in the cracks. We would definitely recommend using BEHR's Porch & Patio Anti-Slip Paint for a nice refresh or even to help fix a train wreck.

Internet #313152973 Model # 623001 BEHR Premium Floor Coatings Acrylic Latex Porch and Floor Paint I built a 8 X 10 (80 sq/ft) porch out of used lumber. The deck is solid but looked tired. It also had lots of nail holes and cracks. Because of that it took 1 Gal for the first coat due to filling everything in. Normally it would do 125 sq/ft When the porch was wet it was a little slippery so I wanted to fix all those issues. BEHR has added something to the paint to give it a slip resistance finish, kind of like sand. To prep, I used the BEHR All in One Wood Cleaner. See my review in the BEHR Wood Cleaner page (Internet #203200559 Model # 06301N Store SKU #842479) I let it dry overnight. I taped off a couple of places I didn't want to paint. I used a brush to cut-in around the post and door. I used the roller to do large areas. I used the brush to fill in big cracks and nail holes. I have photo after the first coat you can see the huge difference it made. I will put a second coat on later to make it even better. Clean up is easy, just use warm, soapy water and rinse. MANUFACTURES COMMENTS: - 1 gal. covers up to 125 sq. ft - Recommend air temperature 50°F to 90°F - Recoat in 2-hours to 4-hours - Use 3/8 in. nap roller - 100% acrylic latex base provides durability

Another high quality Behr product. From opening the can, you can see the thickness of this paint. I’ve used Behr patio paint on other surfaces and it stands the test of time. This would be great on walls too as it won’t run or drip like other paint. In fact, I had some left over and decided to use the remainder on my front patio. I didn’t have enough left over, so I extended it by adding another brand of patio paint I had on hand. The Behr paint was still in great shape, but not the other paint. I also selected a darker color this time. It is a little lighter than I expected, but still looks great. My 200 sq foot patio took just over 2 gallons.

This porch and patio paint lives up to what I have come to expect from Home Depot’s BEHR paint line of products. This is a heavy thick paint that goes on very smoothly and does a good job of one-coat coverage – however, I would recommend a second coat if using on exterior weathered decking such as mine. It has a non-slip surface which is ideal for any walking surface especially in wet or damp conditions. As with any painting project surface preparation is critically important. I power washed the deck followed by BEHR cleaner #63 and allowed to thoroughly dry prior to apply paint. Overall, very happy with this product and highly recommend.

My front porch and steps needed to be painted but I wanted something that would last and also be antislip. This acrylic latex paint works on concrete and masonary. If the concrete is clean with nothing on it, you will need to us the bonding primer. If the concrete has paint on it, it just needs to be cleaned and then apply the paint. I like that it is resistant to UV damage and has a low luster. The entire fornt of my house looks great thanks to the new color on the porch and steps. It is really easy to apply and clean up is no problem.

BEHR PREMIUM, TEXTURED LOW-LUSTRE ENAMEL INTERIOR/EXTERIOR PORCH AND PATIO ANTI-SLIP FLOOR PAINT IN DARK WALNUT, is a really nice product. I have used others with not so great results. The key is the prep work not matter what product you use, please clean and prep correctly by following the instructions. I applied during a sunny, non-humid day! Easy application and the clean up was ok as long as you are careful. Protect everything. this is kinda hard to get out of area you did not want on. Do not wait to clean up because it dries fast and solid. Look forward to giving more info on the long term results in a couple months. So far so goo even with all the crazy rain and debris hitting the surface.

I like the non slip texture of this covering, it has enough texture to keep from slipping, but not so much that its annoying to bear feet. As you can see from the pictures I posted I prepared the wood properly by stripping off as much old paint as possible, then washing the surface with the recommended cleaning solution, and using the recommended primer. I used a combination of a 1000 PSI pressure washer and a wire a cupped wire brush on an angle grinder to remove the previous loose paint. I was actually surprised how well the first coat covered the white primer. I used about 3/4 of a gallon and it covered approximately 225 Sq., ft which is higher than what was estimated by the manufacturer. I was fairly aggressive with a wire brush on an angle grinder so the surface was rough in many areas. So I used about a gallon and a half to put on the recommended two coats. The recommended 3/8 inch nap roller worked well to apply. I used this textured paint because it was less expensive and less work than to replace with the composite boards. It is also a very good "green" and safer solution over regular paint to preserving a deck that was only in in need of an upgrade . I'm also planning on using this product on our concrete steps too !

I used this Behr paint on an outdoor seating area so far but will do the whole carport as well because it looks great. It is extremely easy to apply, just a roller for fastest results. The color I used is silver grey and it is just perfect. It looks the way I imagined my exposed cement would look but didn't. Now it does. The area I painted was just fine during a near miss hurricane. Application does take some planning for rain issues here in Florida. Plan for a Behr bonding primer and then two coats of this Behr floor paint to be applied and dried.

I used this Behr Premium #PFC-25 Dark Walnut Textured Low-Lustre Enamel Interior/Exterior Porch ad Patio Anti-Slip Floor Paint to coat pavers I'm using to extend my downstairs patio. I painted only the tops of the pavers because I need them to still lock into place with the polymeric sand and didn't want to risk it not bonding to the paint. First I used muriatic acid, as suggested, to clean the surface of the pavers (this stuff is dangerous if you don't dilute it per the instructions). Then I applied the suggested primer for concrete surfaces. Lastly I painted the surfaces with two coats, separated by the suggested time per the instructions. The paint goes on very think, like melted chocolate or pancake batter. Do not thin it out by pressing hard and trying to extend it, it's meant to go on thick to provide the suggested coverage and slip-resistance. The paver tiles coated perfectly and will work just as needed. Keep in mind this material sets very quickly in the heat, you should probably wait until it's cool outside to perform the work. Also, because the paint goes on super thick, you use up a can very fast and go through more material than expected. Make sure you read the coverage chart and make sure you order enough to complete the project so you don't have to run back out to get more. I definitely plan on using more of this to mark out architectural designs under my gazebos and possibly a few other projects.

I used the Behr Premium #PFC-23 Tan Textured Low-Lustre Enamel Interior/Exterior Porch and Patio Anti-Sip Floor Paint to re-paint my 2nd story balcony. My balcony was in dire need of recoating as it was old and stained and was starting to crack. We don't get really wet winters in CA but it was cracked enough that if it did rain I would have to worry about further damage under the floor. After spraying off loose dirt we used the recommended Behr All-In-One Wood/Composite Cleaner. Then we started applying paint. I'll tell you, right off the bat, this product is thick, it's like painting with pancake batter. The product goes on thick and you really do need a heavy mat roller to put it on. We started with 1/2" mat rollers and quickly realized that we need to upgrade. It goes on heavy and you really need to not spread it out too much or you end up with little bubble spots where it's thin. We waited the recommended few hours to apply the second coat and rolled that on thick as well. The product is very durable after it cures and it filled in every crack I had perfectly. I would definitely purchase more of this product if I had more balconies to coat. It goes on thick and it definitely prevents slipping. The surface is nice and rugged and feels like it will hold up for several years. Word to the wise though, in the heat this product sets up quickly, so if you're not moving fast you can peel up areas the way normal latex paint would peel when partially set up. So move quickly, or wait until it's cool outside to apply it. And keep in mind that it goes on thick, so you're using a lot of paint quickly, and may need more than you originally thought to complete your project. My balcony is approx. 120 SF and it took nearly 3 gallons for 2 coats.

BEHR Premium 1 gal. #PFC-23 Tan Textured Low-Lustre Enamel Interior/Exterior Porch and Patio Anti-Slip Floor Paint Over the years I have got a lot of paint for my home made by Behr. And, I have never been disappointed. The quality is always there and that’s what I like about this paint too. I was looking for wood paint for a set of outdoor stairs and found this Behr floor paint. All I had to do was clean my stairs with the Behr wood surface cleaner and I was good to go. If you have ever done any painting, then you know how easy it is. The acrylic paint is for outdoors use, is non slip, can handle constant sunlight and will not peel easily. My stairs look great.

I applied Behr Porch and Patio Anti-Slip Floor Paint to a small exterior wood ramp that’s attached to my outdoor shed. Prior to applying the Behr paint to previously unpainted but severely weathered wood, I prepared the area to be painted with Behr Premium All-In-One Wood Cleaner to remove any grease, mold, green slime and residue that might interfere with the paints adhesion. I applied the cleaner to wet wood with a pump sprayer, scrubbed it in with a stick bristled broom and hosed it off with a strong stream of water from a garden hose, as per the instructions. After allowing the wood to dry thoroughly for a day, because the area is fairly small, I applied the Behr Porch and Patio Anti-Slip Floor Paint with a brush and trim roller. The paint is thick in the can, but applied easily and dried quickly, in only a couple of hours. The paint hides cracks and minor imperfections in the pressure treated wood boards. The paint emits zero odor. The fine sand in the paint provides a good grip, especially on wet wood that would otherwise have been slippery due to the green moss and slime that accumulated on the ramp that I refinished. The paint is available in low-lustre and gloss, in 75 colors. I am using low-luster for my project. The product cleans up easily with soap and water. From start to finish, I’m very satisfied with this product, and am pleased at how well my project turned out.

I had to redo a concrete porch that had faded and worn paint. I used primer in the areas that the concrete was bare. I powerwashed the porch to remove any loose paint. I wasn't looking for perfection as I was doing the job myself in between the really hot days. However, the porch looks a hundred times better. I waited a few days in between the first and second coat. The paint felt a little tacky but I think that was the non slip feel on bare feet. The paint is thick like a milkshake. I bought cheap brushes and some thick rollers as my cement was quite pitted and uneven. I threw them out after I was done as it was too messy to clean with my hose. It did remove easily from my skin. Dried almost like rubber on the skin and in the pan. It took a gallon and about a half to do my porch which is about 5 feet by 3 feet. high. Two coats. I do not know if the project requires two coats but with my pitted cement it definitely did.

We love BEHRING products for their quality and the results we get when we use them. We selected this porch paint because we have had previous great results when we lived up north with the climate changes and especially when it got slippery in the snow, ice and winter weather. A big plus or bonus is the ease of cleaning when I used a soap solution in my pressure washer on a lower Power or stream setting. Easy to use, applies evenly and effortlessly and looks really great when dried and done. Also handles the foot traffic exceptionally well.
