THE BEST DECK PAINT EVER!

Using this to cover my deck. Had to replace part of the deck with new boards. The other half still has old boards. Wanted something solid so the two portions wouldn't look off. This has done a great job covering. The new boards it went on very smooth and looks amazing. The older boards are soaking up the stain and I will need to go back to get more. The color is spot on though--you can't tell the difference between the old boards and the new boards and that is what I wanted.

My deck is old, badly weathered, and deeply cracked. It was sanded and cleaned before staining though this didn't help a lot. The first coat covered about 140 square feet per gallon. Three coats took about nine gallons for the 240 total square feet. A roller was used for all coats and brushed in with the final coat but many cracks were still not filled. I had hoped it would penetrate better into the cracks but it didn't. Spraying might have worked better but too much wind. Not sure I can fairly blame the stain, but result not so good. I used solid color stain and it does appear durable and hid underlying color well.

We used this to refresh and protect the same color wood house siding (cape cod gray) We were able to do this with easy one coat coverage with a strain spreader with great results.

We have a waterfront cottage on Long Island Sound that gets abuse from the elements. We used the BEHR Premium Solid waterproofing Exterior Wood Stain and sealer to finish both the DECK and the wood shingles on the building. After sanding the wood on the DECK down to raw wood I found the BEHR product to go on very easily and resulted in a wonderful final Project with only one coat. I am very pleased and have attached a photo.

I used this deck paint to weather protect a wheel barrel I got at an antique shop. The paint went on perfectly and covered the surface great. I did use a few coats, but I couldn't be happier with the stain and sealer. Although I went with white, the color options were great and it seemed to portray the color on the wood I picked out.

Product works well however it is very thin. This causes a lot of fine splatter. I used it on a new deck (railings) a year ago and it's holding up well here in Ohio. It covers well but you have to be mindful of the splatter.

The paint was a success. Went on very well. Two coats complete coverage fence and porch both pressure treated lumber. The color my wife picked for the porch was beautiful. Highly recommend this product. Many color choices to have mixed for your liking.

Painted, dried a few hours then heavy rain storm came....deck still looks great!

I originally gave this four stars (RVA81). After a few weeks the quality became apparent. Unless you're staining you wood a dark earth tone (brown, red, cedar, etc...) don't bother with this stain. I painted my deck frame white and tannin bleed occurred immediately. A second/third coat seemed to lock it in and i thought everything was fine, but after several rain storms bad things happened. I built this deck a year earlier, so the wood had plenty of time to dry out and season. Where the water pooled on the top deck railings, the tannins eventually soaked through. Even an old pen mark that i couldn't see when the wood was bare came through. Very disappointed. I will attempt to get my money back. Additionally, all the positive reviews seem to be right after application. Negative reviews seems to be one or two years down the road. Im so mad my neighbor talked me into staining, not painting.

So far so good. After a few months outside, we will see how the waterproof stain works, but it went on easy and the color is very white.

I would like to know how Home Depot knows what I buy?

This is the 2nd time we used this product very happy with it!
