The product was very easy to apply and fast drying, especially if in the sun. Water beads ups nicely on the concrete and the natural look of the product leaves no visible coating or sheen. Good product. Needs to be reapplies as directed. I found using a big thick brush (I attached mine to a long pole to save my back) works best for applying

I was really amazed with this product. I had a year old concrete patio I wanted to seal underneath a deck, because the concrete was constantly getting dirty/moldy. I pressure washed and then scrubbed the tougher spots with a bleach/baking soda mixture I found on the Interwebs. I let the entire patio dry for a good day and half, with no rain in the forecast. I then used a pump sprayer to coat the concrete, making sure not to overcoat. I let it dry for 24 hours. I was worried it wouldn't work, as the concrete was not glossy at all. In fact, it didn't look any different from when I finished cleaning it. I sprayed a hose - and the water completely beaded up, rolling off the patio in streams! The only parts that didn't bead up were some oil/grease spots where my grill sits that I couldn't remove. If you want water to completely bead up on your patio, this is your product.

I used ome coat to cover back patio. This product really repels water. Ill meed to be careful in the colder months when it freezes.

Bought two gallons of this product after running out of a competitors sealant that cost about 1-1/2 times as much to see how well it works. Theirs no comparison between the two. This stuff really beads the water. My method of application was a garden pump sprayer followed with a roller as the product had a tendency to bead up on the surface; as I had sealed it with two coats of densifier plus a water sealer less then a year ago. Wanted to reseal the driveway after pressure washing the daylights out of it to remove severe tire markings from heavy construction trucks and trailers. We live near South Lake Tahoe and spalling of concrete is a serious problem up here. Please note: The two different products where applied within two days of each other. I like the fact that this product is both a densifier and a waterproofer that can be applied in one application.

Easy to apply with a 1 gallon sprayer, did patio (16X14), sidewalk (3X30) and driveway (17X80). Took 2 1/2 five gallon buckets. Might have put it on too thick, because I had some runs on the inclined driveway, but wanted it to be a 1 coat job.

I am giving this behr product a bad review because of the condition when delivered. The large bucket top was sealed, however the 3" cap on top was not. This concerned me because I was unsure if the contents were as they were to have been from the factory. I called Home Depot with this concern and they referred me to Behr. I called Behr and the gal said as far as she knew they come sealed. I did not care for her answer at all. I proceeded to ask other questions that were left out of instructions, like drying time and so forth and she did not know that either. I applied the product and am hoping it works as described. I will update my review after I see the results. I have always been happy with Behr products but feel something is not right with this one.

I have bricks which have chronically had green algae / moss growing on them. I've tried a few waterproofing things in the past to no avail. I was looking for a waterproofing product I could apply with a jug sprayer and this fit the bill. I was confused if I should try one of the waterproofers in the gallon can but it seemed that with a rough brick surface I didn't want a paint-like product. I liked that it has a 10yr warranty and I'm keeping the receipt in case I need to reapply. I applied a bleach solution, pressure-washed, and waited for 3 hot dry days. I used a jug sprayer until it soaked it and surface residue showed, then used a deck brush to mop spread out the residue. I then waited another 2 days and reapplied a second coat which immediately left a surface residue but I worked it in again. The liquid goes on a milky color but disappears in an hour or so. I was going to apply a 3rd coat of wet look sealer but the rains hit before I could do that but a small area I tested didn't look much different (I think that the rough surface won't achieve the wet look). I am relieved to see that there's a nice beading of water on the surface - see photo. Only time will tell if it keeps beading and avoids the algae but the 10yr warrantee will come in handy.

Applied 10 gallons to over 2,000 sq ft of hard scape: concrete patio with slate border and concrete wall caps. Used professional grade equipment: power washer to clean and sprayer to apply. Used 2 coats. Looks great after 1 month following high heat and rain. I recommend using a sprayer not roller. I used rollers in the past with other sealers and its messy, does not apply evenly and just does not look good. I hired an experienced painter (did my house) to spray on the sealer. It was worth paying the extra money for this skill. I still saved tons $$ compared to the quotes I was getting from "professional" concrete sealing contractors.

I am not giving an excellent rating because this was the only brand that I have used for sealing concrete pavers. We had plenty of rain a couple of days after application, And I saw rain drops beading on the pavers. So it does seal well. One word of advice, I found that the best way to apply it was with a hand pump sprayer using a fanning nuzzle instead of a paint roller or brush.

Container did not anything about a second coat as Flood does. Our deck looks terrible, all splotchy. I would like a refund if anybody ever bothers to read this. Very expensive for the poor results!

the product did not cover anywhere close to what ADVERTISED.

Ran out of other sealant, bought this sealant and the difference is striking. Behr section looks hardly treated after two coats. Other brand far better.

If used as instructed, it works as advertised. Water flows on concrete as it does on a glossy surface. It does not make the surface slippert. Dries quickly. Water drops appear as dew drops.

Great product. Easy to apply. Repels water and driveway looks new.
