the B&D 20 volt cordless drill for which I purchased this was very poor....hardly worth keeping. So the batteries aren't much use either. Went out and bought a DeWalt instead: more expensive but at least it works!

they only keep a charge for about 20 minutes of yard work and then take hours to recharge, glad I have 2

The battery arrive in working condition. I charged the product on, a charger. The abridged power tool powered correctly. A working task was able to be complete.

Batteries easy to use and recharge. I run then for about 45 minutes of cutting than change out for a recharged one.

I purchased these batteries to use with the string trimmer. So far I have been impressed with their power and light weight. Each battery gives about 10 minutes of run time for the trimmer and about 15 minutes for the blower. What is also convenient is that I don't have to worry about charging them for 8+ hrs. prior to use like the old Ni-Cad batteries.

These batteries defy belief. They're small and light enough to slip an extra in your pocket. They charge reasonably quickly and power every tool for longer than I thought possible – well over an hour. The chargers are smaller than a deck of cards and take up almost no space on your workbench. And you can leave the battery on the charger indefinitely. These batteries crate a whole new paradigm in cordless tools.

These batteries are advertised as long life, but you can barely get a hour of use out of them. Then they need to charge for 4 hours for a full charge. Can't get anything done this way.

Lithium 20 volt rechargable batteries, sold in a pair saved over $10.00 compared to buying just one. Lighter and smaller than the stock batterie issued with the device used for.

Good product, easy to use and no hassle of extension cords and things like that. Only real downfall is that its not a long charge and if you ran out it takes longer to charge. Keep multiple ones handy.

This is a Christmas gift for hubby who got the Matrix X last year for Christmas and requested extra batteries this year. Nothing better than a Black and Decker product!!

Battery powered lawn & garden equipment is no longer a powerless situation. These Lithium battery powered trimmer have amazing power that lasts far longer than any tool I have ever owned. They charge smoothly and snap in without a fight !

Compact and light but only last for about 10 minutes, which if fine for my purposes. You need multiple batteries for many uses.

Needed extra batteries to get the most from B&D grass hog & blower. Ordered online to deliver to store...two pack was just what we needed. Picked up & paid for at GP store. Super easy!

Black & Decker 20-volt MAX Lithium batteries (at 1.5 Amp Hours) are too under-powered for their line of lithium 20 volt cordless outdoor power tools. Average run time is only about 10 to 15 minutes. That's a shame because these new B&D cordless tools appear to be sturdy and well-designed. Rather than buying this now, you'd be better off waiting until B&D introduces their 3.0 AH version of this battery. With so many complaints now surfacing on the Web about this battery's short run-time, it's inevitable that a 3.0 AH battery will be released fairly soon.

Two for the price of one: same price for one as for the pair. Each operates for only 15 minutes per charge. I need at least three of each to do the edging and trimming. 20V feature only available at initial start-up, after that voltage drops.
