I was only able to charge the battery twice before it indicated it was bad and wouldn't take a charge. The replacement batteries are really pricey too. Based on other reviews I think I might just need to buy a different brand hedge trimmer.

battery won't charge, just getting a blinking red light that suggests won't charge. I barely use it for my leaf blower, not replacing for $94 , i'll just buy a different brand.

My battery was used maybe 5 times and now will not charge. It is for my trimmer. Replacing is very expensive. Is there a warranty? I have several B&D tools and their batteries hold up very well.

After my original battery died, I was happy to be able to buy a replacement. I can now complete all of my yard trimming work with one charge.

Battery doesn't last any 15 minutes if your lucky.

I have 2 batteries for my mower. Within a year they both only charge to 2 bars and then start blinking red. Within 15 minutes of mowing both batteries are completely dead.

The delivery was quick and easy to access through the store.

Is expensive but lasts a lot longer than other batteries.

A brand new string trimmer with LItium Ion Battery that was supposed to last 4 hours. I used my new trimmer and it conked out after one hour!!!! I was hoping for a more durable and better performing product!!!

Got two with an electric mower. I'm not overly particular and my grass isn't thick so I only mow a handful of times per season. So I've had this battery for over a year but it has maybe 10 cycles on it. I get the blinking red light when charging now, same as others describe. I'm disappointed and expect better longevity and quality control from my tools. Creating waste like this is a shame.

I have several Black & Decker power tools and needed another rechargeable battery.The tools use the 40V battery. Works great!

Charging takes forever, battery doesn't hold a charge for long, and to top it all off the battery breaks very quick. I would not recommend!

Never received battery - after first order it got LOST - ordered again & took so long I got the battery somewhere else & cancelled order.

My lawnmower came with 2 batteries, but I needed a 3rd to get through both front and back yards. I bought an authentic Black + Decker battery and am pleased with the result.

After one year of spare use it's junk because the battery has gone bad.

paid $100 for a battery that won't charge.. trying to get a return started is not working very well.

I really haven’t used it yet. It did charge up rapidly. It’s ready to go whenever I get ready to use my weed-eater. Thanks.
