Very smooth operation. Looks fantastic and easy to rekey yourself. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

The lock has the ability to rekey. This is a good feature however it is on the outside, so anyone with the right tool and key, can change the key and enter the home. Beautiful lock. I would have rated it higher, except for the rekey feature

Baldwin makes high quality door hardware.

I installed a new MP Solana 1-Lite pre-hung fiberglass door (love the door!) and chose this for the hardware. The door is pre-drilled for 5-1/2" center-to-center deadlock/handle holes and this fixture fits perfectly. My only adjustment was for the deadlock strike plate, which is wider & taller than the pre-cut hole in the door. A chisel works fine on fiberglass and took 10 minutes. I'm pleased with the look.

Bought this product to replace a different entry set that was double the price from a boutique manufacturer and this is by far superior! So impressed with the ease of install and the smooth function of it, not to mention it looks beautiful!

I love the security of it compared to my normal door handles. It looks so much better, and adds character and don't look old fashioned. The matte black finish looks great and seems to be very durable. I love the slim modern design also! The SmartKey is also another great feature allowing you to re-key your lock yourself very easily and quickly. I would highly recommend this handle!

You're able to key all your Prestige series and Smartkey locks with the same one key convenience. Universal lever design for both left and right handed doors. Very simple to install. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation of the Baldwin Prestige Series Spyglass lever Entrance in the Matte Black finish was as easy as following the well written directions. We were looking to up date the look of our front door and also get rid of the round door knob and replace it with a lever handle to allow easier opening and closing the door with our hands full. You do need a key to lock the door when you leave the house on the outside, this will take a little to get used to but not a big issue. Having the Microban Antimicrobial protection was not something I appreciated before Covid, but I do now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so i purchased this item because I saw them on display and I thought they were so beautiful and they had the black matte finish with a Microban Antimicrobial Protection so you don't have to worry about peoples germs getting on your beautiful door handle and omg did i mention its so beautiful handle plus its so luxurious i love it

Makes my front door look very sophisticated. Works as it is designed to.

I love the look of it as it was exactly what I had in mind. With arthritis in my hand I cannot turn a handle or use my thumb. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has hand problems. I had searched high and low for one with this look and find out it seems only Baldwin makes it. Now for the bad news, my son stopped by to install this on my door. Was unable to do so. Parts not marked, etc. The next day I called a locksmith to do this. He found also that there were screws missing and nothing marked. Luckily they were for the inside and behind the plate. He was able to install it without those screws. But imagine if he were missing parts that were really essential to the job. I would have had to return the one I got for another one. Then I would have had a $65 trip fee for this trip and then another fee when he came back again. And what if the replacement also had some missing screws? This could get very costly to have a tech to keep coming back until I had a complete set. I have read other reviews where customers report missing screws. I think this needs to be investigated and find out why. Maybe have a final inspection before sending this out. If not for this problem I would have given this the highest ratings.

Very nice. My handyman had to get creative in the existing space, but it worked and it looks beautiful.
