While it is a bit on the heavy side, it was quite easy to setup.

Home depot watchdog AMG battery is exactly what I needed I don't want to be concerned with battery maintenance, and this was the best solution

Easy installation and hookup.

I bought this one instead of a "wet cell" battery because I wanted a no-maintenance battery. Who wants to keep checking the battery and adding water? I was able to hook it up to my Basement Watchdog sump pump system (a primary pump with a battery-powered backup pump) with no problem at all. Just make sure you connect the water level sensor to the positive terminal of the battery so the alarm doesn't keep going off.

The Basement Watchdog was easy to install. Fitted my 5 gal plastic bucket (12 in opening). Pump worked well but the backup pump not powerful enough to lift 8 ft plus 3 elbows. Changed the 1/3 HP for 1/2 HP which solved the backup test. Used same bucket. Tight but enough space to free the two floats. Resting on small 1 in brick at bottom of sump pit. The backup battery and monitor is great for diagnostic. Shows when charging etc. No power outage yet but brings peace of mind. Worth the investment.

I have only had 6 months, but it was super easy to install and NO messy battery acid. Easy to use with the Watchdog system. No problem converting it - just wrapped the alarm wire around the bolt in just a few seconds. Super easy. It was well worth extra money being that the other Watchdog battery died after just over 1 year and I had to mess with adding the battery acid. So far, so good.

Easy connectivity as befote

I‘ve had a WatchDog back-up sump pump for 25 years, on my second set of pumps Big Combo now, and my 3rd battery. The first 2 were wet cell -- a pain to refill with distilled water several times a year when the water sensor alarm goes off. Called Watchdog customer support last week and they upgraded me to a new Special+ Connect brain for only $75. Now I can use the sealed battery, and no more refills. Easy to upgrade/install and Orange had the best price in town.

The older gentleman in plumbing did a great job of assisting me. I was concerned about him getting the 59lb batter off the top rack? But he was very helpful and friendly

I did not need it so I returned it

Battery would not charge. Took it to Glentronics in Lincolnshire, IL and they replaced it with a new one!

Love the system, but battery life is poor. Purchased 1-23-2023, battery needed to be replaced on 7-27-24. $200+ for a new battery that never powered the system is not ideal in my opinion. Hopefully the replacement battery will last longer than 18 months.

We have one and it has lasted for four years thought about buying a less expensive one, but this one was recommended and so far it’s been very good
