After just two weeks of daily use we're very pleased with our new brewer. Understand two things: there is no heating surface under the carafe and the lid will not fit on the carafe with the filter basket in place. The brewing goes quickly so stay nearby until the brewer switches off automatically. Have a dish cloth handy. After the coffee stops flowing into the carafe, use the dish cloth to catch any hot drips and remove the filter basket (we then set it in the sink to drain). Then immediately screw the lid onto the carafe to retain the heat! The coffee is very hot when brewed; the high heat and "shower head" design provide the great flavor. The carafe is well insulated and keeps the coffee plenty warm with the lid installed.

This simple and fast coffee brewer makes a nice cup of coffee. I was specifically looking for one with a thermal pot and one that was on the smaller size (40 oz), and this one fit the bill. It takes up smaller counter space than most others and does keep the coffee hot for well over an hour. I previously was using a pour over to make my daily coffee for well over 2 years, but wanted a change to something that didn't require as much work and would keep my coffee hotter, which this does. There is nothing fancy with this coffeemaker, no presets, or the ability to make a single cup, so it may not be for everyone, but for me, it is exactly what I was looking for and I am very happy with it.

Makes a truly perfect and fast pot of coffee. Only complaint is that the carafe does not fit underneath the dripper with the lid on.

Great coffee pot. As advertised

I have the original version of this product and it always made very good coffee and was brewed at the proper temperature. Also the thermo carafe was glass lined and kept coffee hot for many hours if you pre-heated it. I purchased the new Bonavita Connoisseur and it is a big disappointment. The product looks good but overall has a much cheaper fabrication, probably to reduce cost. The problem is it does not maintain the proper temperature when brewing and also the new thermo carafe is stainless steel inside and out. Even when pre-heated it does not keep the coffee hot for more than one hour. This is partially due to the fact the e new brew temp is not correct. I have been a big fan of Bonavita in the past and have recommended the product to many people; unfortunately I cannot recommend the new Connoisseur model. It is definitely not for the connoisseur. Moving on to Technivorm.

Nothing spectacular for the price tag.

The coffee is not as hot as the 205 degrees advertised. The carafe does not maintain heat longer than 20 minutes.

This coffee brewer makes excellent coffee. It is fast, easy to use, and easy to clean.

The brew is really fast, and hot. This part is great. The unit is 8 cups only. It brews with the lid off, so when it’s done brewing, you put the lid on. There are no features for a timer. These are all things that may have been advised prior to purchasing. Otherwise it is a great coffee maker.

Makes great tasting coffee.

Coffee quality medium-high. Rapid process, start to finish. Thermos carafe keeps coffee warm, but needs to be seasoned with hot water so coffee's heat isn't used heating up the carafe. Can't remove carafe until brewing complete; no valve in bottom of ground holder. With screw-on lid in place the carafe does not fit under the grounds basket. Makes only 8 cups. On-line order and delivery quick and easy. Purchased because of Cook Magazine review which did not include any of the downsides. It makes good coffee, and I will keep it, but I'll always feel a bit disappointed.

The product was as good as advertised and the ordering and pick up was seamless. Will order from Home Depot again.

The coffeemaker was for my husband. He says it makes great coffee and is easy to operate and clean. He especially likes taking the insulated carafe to his home office for refilling his cup without having to go back to the kitchen. The coffee stays plenty hot for him.

Flimsy built, don't try and pour water using the carafe; spills every time. No timer. We set the filter and coffee the night before; filter folds.

Coffee pot is simple to use, Makes a fast and good cup of coffee. I like that it turns off when coffee has brewed. Fill the stainless container first with hot water per instructions before brewing especially if adding cream to your coffee if you want really hot coffee.

Coffee tastes great. Thermal carafe holds the heat.

These are one the best coffee makers. Having a thermal carafe is wonderful . It keeps the coffee hot for a long time.

This is my second time purchase of Bonavita coffee brewer. My first one I got 8 years ago and its still working however I decided to get new updated model. It is the simplest coffee maker which makes the best coffee

Works well but plastic top and coffee filter seem to conflict with the coffeepot "space" pour top, so you need to remove coffee basket immediately after brewing which is still OK.

Bonavita Connoisseur One-Touch Coffee Brewer did not work well for me. It was simple to use with one button however was not able to get strong brewed coffee after much try. The coffee canister did not keep coffee hot for very long and when I mean long I talking about 15 to 20 minutes. Overall I was not happy with my new Connoisseur and returned.

Water does not distribute evenly. Doesn't seem right.

4.5 stars. I bought this after seeing that it is Gold Cup certified to brew coffee at the proper temperature- and the improved taste is noticeable. This is a straightforward unit, simple and easy. -.5 star because you have to take the basket out to put the carafe back with its lid on, awkward.

Easy to use. Note there is no heating element under carafe so once carafe is filled, coffee will stay warm for awhile.
