first one was defective but return was very easy and new one is working just fine

It's not putting out four gal of hot water as advertised.

The installation of the water heater went smoothly (took about 45 minutes) and within another 45 minutes it produced hot water! Sicne we only installed it last weekend, I can't comment on its long-term effectiveness.

6 year warranty requires you replace the anode annually. Didn't know about that and mine rusted out in 2 1/2 years. Their Tech Support was definitely geared to reject warranty claims. Buy this as a disposable.

I was happy with this unit the last few years, but the anode rod and heating element corrode in a few years, and rather than go to trouble of descaling and replacing rod and heating element , i just ordered a new one. Sorry to say we could not get it to turn on , $500 worth of plumbing time later ( to remove unit and re connect water lines), I'm right back where I started. I'm pretty sure Bosch is not going to pay my plumber for lost time. Beware if you need plumber to do installation.

Great little water heater.

This was a perfect replacement for another brand water heater with the same capacity.

I use the 4gal water heater for my outdoor mancave bbq area. It great for clean up. This i my second one in 12 years.

Our water lines runs through the foundation, so it takes a long time to get hot water. This puts 4 gallons of hot water at your fingertips, and easily prevents that much in wasted water. Seems to be pretty energy efficient. Because we are on municipal water and sewer, I expect this to pay for itself inside of a year. Easy install.

Hot water pipe going to kitchen in the slab burst. It was going to be a very expensive project to fix. I installed this under the sink and it has worked like a champ. Problem solved.

Second time buying. First played out in 5 years. Placed under sink in outdoor kitchen. Great for small washing jobs. And reheats water super fast after running out of water. Just wish they had a longer life.

I purchased this a year ago and now after a year i have finally put it in and the hot water doesnt work when i need it, it isnt instant, im not sure if the tank is even filling with water i need help

Works as the one it replaced(sprung an internal leak). Ok so far.
