We are electricians, and we have found that they produce excellent results. They take extream abuse. Somtime hitting nails ect. Would recommend to others to try them out. Coupled with the Milwaukee extensions you can't beat them.

One inch bits are difficult to find at reasonable cost, but this one is good. VERY aggressive when starting - hold on.

This drill was easy to install

Forget the regular wood drill bit. This heavy duty, out of this world quality bit will make a hole in a fraction of the time of yesterday's design. I average about five seconds to go through the standard joist (1 1/2"). Pricey but worth it especially if you're working overhead. Comes in a very protective plastic tube to keep it from being dinged in your tool box.

It chewed right through some back to back 2x4's. This tip digs in and pulls it through. Even when I had a bad angle without much force it drove itself through. I used a slow drill setting. A fast drilling speed may prevent the tip from pulling the bit into the wood.

Impressive auger bit! Cuts through wood with ease! Perfect for rough work. Not something you’d want to use for fine woodwork.

NKST08 does NOT have a 7.5" drill depth as indicated. That's the total tip to tip length.

it is very good but it has one problem if you drill on the edge of the 2/4 it will just split it in half!

Drilled about 80 holes through 26 gauge sheet steel and 2" of wood and it stayed sharp and fast drilling. I'd say it exceeded my expectations.

Chewed thru my 2x4 top plate like butter!

This is a very good auger bit. I used to drill holes through 2x4 studs and floor plates. It worked best when I used it with my drill (18 volt cordless Milwaulkee) on the low speed/high torque setting. The packaging is also reusable for storage. Bosch makes excellent products.

Only used it to drill 5 holes, but couldn't be more pleased. Had to drill 5 holes thru aged joists to run wires for security cameras. My old electrical drill was so dull I could not get thru one joist. This bit went thru like it was going thru butter. Didn't have to push hard, it pulled itself right thru. The secret will be to keep from hitting nails and dulling it.

Awesome bit, very quick drilling into treaded lumber.
