Arrived quickly and as advertised. The base appears to be well made and is a huge time saver when switching the router from hand held use to router table.

It's a very good product, it just wouldn't work with my Harbor Freight router.

There are a number of mounting options on the base. So it should fit a wide range of premade router tables. My commercial table was not made to exacting standards, so it took a bit of tweaking to make it fit just so. The good news is that you leave the base attached. The router pops in and locks in place in seconds. Like all Bosch equipment, this just excellent.

If you have a Bosch Router table, this is a no-brainer choice! This way, you don't tie up your Router Mobile base and it is easy to put the router in and out of this fixed table base. Adjustment from the Table top is easy with the included adjustment key.

I bought an extra base so that I could easily change from router table to straight router. It lets me do exactly that.I leave one base on the router table all the time and have another to slide the motor into when I want a regular router. One step, no tool change over.

This was an excellent purchase. I’m certain that this will serve me well for years to come !

Attached to my new router table and everything works great.

I purchased this router lift to replace the fixed router base that came with my Bosch router. Mounting this new device was very easy and inserting the router motor into the table no longer requires tools and is quick. Saves a lot of time. Router bit height is adjustable above the table.

I have returned it because I do not need it but it's a great add-on.

Great accessory for the router table. It lets you have the table ready to go when you need it and the router can be used else where without table dissassembly

Same as fixed base, but without the handels

This is the same base as they put on the router except for the handles.I did not drill a hole in the router table to use the T handle Allan wrench. I just unlatch the lever and dial the correction by looking under the router table.

I have to say this has made my life quite a bit easier. Adjusting bit height from the top of the table is awesome. At the price point, it is amazing that other companies have not done this for their customers. Lift systems are crazy expensive and this tool proves that they don't have to be. Kudos to Bosch.

I purchased this Table Base for the RA1181 Router Table, accompanying the 1617EVSPK Router. I can't imagine having to disassemble the table every time I would need the fixed base for the 1617. This extra base will pay for itself in time saved very quickly indeed! It's also nice that I have two hex key wrenches: one in the Table storage bin, and one to keep in the case as backup. It's also very nice not having base handles in the way under the Table. This is definitely worth including with the package, and not overly priced.

What a life saver! I love this lift when it works. There is a washer on the lift between the bolt where the key is used to turn the lift and the manual adjust that keeps popping off and when it does the lift won't work unless reset. I am actually on here today to get a replacement for that as it has already worn out and we have just received and been using this the past 3 weeks. I think a fitted tension ring would have been a better design for this area as the washer (though marginally functional) does not support the opposing forces applied in raising and lowering the lift frequently. Aside from this minor issue that is easily corrected I love this lift!

The base for the 1617 router easily mounted under the Bosch router table. Inserting the router into the base and making height adjustments was a bit of a challenge because the various moving parts did not slide easily. A bit of light oil was needed to ease the insertion of the router and make the adjusters move more smoothly.

Super simple to set up and yielded increased accuracy. I had to drill a new hole in my table base plate to access the adjuster, but that was a simple task. I wish I had purchased this sooner.

The device is fine but doesn't fit the two router tables I have So I returned it.

This unit installed in the Bosch table allows you to adjust the height of the bit with a turn of the hex wrench.. wish I had this years ago.you don't have to remove the router or fumble with locking collars.

I already had two bases for the 1617 router: a plunge base and a surface base. I needed a base to attach to my table to obviate the need to continually remount the surface base in the table. This base served the purpose admirably.

Great invention dials in easy.built my own table. Combined with the table saw .use table saw fence for guide.

This router base attachment will allow the user to make the final adjustments from the top of the table when installed. By using this base for the table you have the Bosch original base to use your router free from the table without installing and adjusting your table every time you want to use each system.
