Fits my Husqvarna riding lawnmower. Easy to install

The Briggs and Stratton Air Filter and Pre-Cleaner is the genuine replacement part for your Briggs and Stratton Engine. The pre-filter is washable and helps make the air filter last longer. To clean the pre-filter, pull the air filter off the engine, slide the foam pre-filter off of the filter. Gently wash the pre-filter in warm soap and water, squeeze out excess water and pat dry with a towel. Do not wring or twist the foam pre-filter. Let it air dry completely and then slide the pre-filter back over the filter and push it back in place on the engine. The filter is easy to replace and no tools are required to change the filter.

works but the fit was Very tight and had to be forced into place which concerns me a bit. Thought it would a more natural fit into the filter mount, must be a one size fits many if you beat it into place. Actually blew out the old one with a compressor and using it till the spring clean up is done then the new one for grass season.

I had a problem with my engine overrevving. All the local repair experts and Youtube tips led me to believe that my problem was a weak or broken governor spring. When taking apart the top of the engine to get to the spring, I saw that I had a very dirty air filter. I could not see any problem with the spring, and replaced the air filter. The problem was the air filter all along.

This filter is well made and the manufacturer is well known, the price was more than fair and it is important to use the right parts to keep your equipment running properly. I would highly recommend this filter and the price at Home Depot was the best I found

The over filter was extremely dirty and needed to be replaced. This provides breathing room for the engine. air. Easy to replace.

this filter right out of the package was better than the one that came with my tractor and actually has a foam sleeve on the outside which the original did not which to me is a plus being that we live out in the country when we cut our grass there's nothing but dust around I often find myself wearing a mask just to cut the grass and I feel that my filter now has a mask on it as well which I feel will prolong the life great product thank you

Tight fit but works

First place I go to buy Propane Gas, Lawnmower parts for and many other items for the house and yard. Al StMartin

The new filter is slightly longer than the one it replaced. It has the exact same part number. It does not properly fit the compartment, causing the cover to not be able to go down all the way. It’s working, but I expected better.

My store had outdated product and the rubber had deteriorated to the point that it was very brittle and cracked when installed although it appeared to be ok in the clear packaging; I had to return it for a refund because it was not usable at all. The home depot return itself was painless and fast.
